So excited. My mares 10 days overdue and her PH dropped from 8 to 7.4 yesterday. Haven't tested her yet today.

Pera, maybe it's half-Arabs! I had one do that to me in the middle of an equitation class and then try to bite me for good measure. Suprisingly, we didn't place! ;P

My boy stands so nicely at the mounting block but once we get going he doesn't like to plant his feet. Slowly been building up the time that we stand between exercises.

Honestly it's really good for them to just get on and let them sit for a minute or two instead of immediately walking off to work. Puts them in a better frame of mind for the rest of the ride

They called him "Hottis" witch means kinda like hot guy, because he loved running and was very hot and handsome, worst thing was that he knew he was handsome

I am learning to ride on an Arab, sheÂ’s half Arab and half QH. But she mostly takes after the Arab side. Mounting is the most difficult thing ever, she may be small but once youÂ’re lifting yourself onto her, she turns and bolts. Need to work on that

Trigger, hmm...the second horse that I rode after my long break of riding (quit when was 6 and started again when I was 11) was an arab, pretty youn arab actually only five years old, it was my friends horse, but two years after she quit riding and they sold him

Hi!! I'm looking for some honest, down to earth critique on my art. What do I need to improve, what on my art looks good, the whole run down! Gimme your personal thoughts! Tear it apart. ;)

I might would try to work on the lighting of the horses so it matches the background a little more, Other than that i think they look great!

I think you're off to a really excellent start here. All these pieces look lovely!

I think the next things to work on, that really stick out to me, would be matching the tone of the horse to the background, and ground shadows. These will definitely refine themselves the more you practice.

Thank you, I really appreciate your help! I'm definitely going to try much harder, especially the shadow since I always seem to forget it lol

Gonna second Jello on those ground shadows, they'll make or break your art. I love your manes and tails a lot, they're hard to get the hang of, but I think there could be a little smudging around the outline of white markings to make it seem like there's overlapping hairs. Other than that, perhaps making the outline highlight a bit less strong in shadowed places, and just slightly less strong in general.
