This might be a dumb question, but when you post links here in chat do you hyperlink them yourself or does the game automatically do that?

Have the name rules changed recently? I'm finding the character limit a lot shorter than it used to be.

Starshine, depends on what you want in genes. If you want to have more Roans then she will do that if you pair her with the right stallion. She's also Pangare which gives her a lighter coloring under her belly and muzzle,With the PATN gene she would probably pass on some neat markings for face and legs.

She's still wonderful, it's great that she's a filly. Good luck with her!

They just meant that since she's a blue roan, that there's not going to be much in the way of good genes. She won't be great, gene-wise.

Starshine
There isn't much to note, considering she's only a blue roan. She's EE aa, which means she will always produce a black based horse. There's PATN2, which she is hiding because she doesn't have the Lp gene (which would make her an appaloose), so she will pass on PATN2 to any offspring she has :) but that's about it

And the roan. She has a 50% chance of passing on her roan gene

Needing lots of tips and criticism (not anymore) June 4, 2020 02:12 PM

I spent hours last night looking at different mane tutorials, eye tutorials, blending tutorials, and pretty much any tutorial I could find having to do with horse manips. This is the outcome. I haven't done the tail, and I'm pretty proud of the mane. Anyone have any tips though? I did that cool burn/dodge thing to the whole body and was also really pleased! Is there a specific way to do it? Any help is appreciated! And yes, I am a beginner, this would be my second proper manip besides just messing around and making animal hybrids for fun.
Background by AStoKo and horse by venomxbaby, I put credits on after I'm finished and forgot to on this wip
This is supposed to be one of my HEE stallions but I might end up auctioning it instead because I feel I'd get more out of it in doing that.
I can't make tem fit into backgrounds. I cheat by making it foggy and just using a fog like brush on top to make them appear the same. Without the fog it looks like I just plastered the horse on, any help with making it blend for non-fog photos would be nice! Also, please give constructive criticism

This is amazing! The only thing I'm going to say is put some reflection of the trees in the water and a little bit of reflection of the horse. Otherwise it is phenomenal! <3

In a way (at least to me) it looks like the horse is almost not really touching any rocks maybe you could try to make it look like its more connected <3 AMAZING other wise I love the colors adn the length of the mane and how it all molds together. love love love it!

My tip would be to duplicate the horse layer turn it black and then erase the parts you don't want darker and lower the opacity to what looks natural

I think the tail looks a little stiff and it doesn't really match the horse because the mane is white/light gray. But it's just my opinion

I haven't done anything to the tail, only to the mane

Yes, I was trying by erasing parts of the hooves to appear behind the rocks, but there was something off about it!

Thank you everyone! I'm hoping to start doing mane manipulations like this, but until I have them mastered, my shop quality won't be like this, I'll keep it lower until I feel I can comfortably draw like this

It looks great! One thing I'd work on is grounding the horse :)
