I think its just a spacing issue. My barns seem to be alright now but my pastures are kinda smushed together

When I click on other people's pages their barns are normal.

Huh interesting. I guess if you have long enough barn names you probably wouldn't notice a spacing change.

Naw, my barns are smooshed together as well. But my other stable is normal.

Everyone's barn sections were aligned right when Eve first updated that section of the page for mobile. What Revel's experiencing seems to be just them though.

Art Program Suggestions? (Going to use Gimp) August 30, 2022 04:26 PM

I have loved Photoshop for many-a year... My wallet... Has not...

My subscription to Creative Cloud just ran out, and to be honest I can't put $200+ into a yearly right now, and monthly is a waste of money in my eyes.

So, I turn to the masses. :)

Are there any free or cheap but good (layers, pressure, tilt, brush slection) drawing/photo edit programs that could get me through till I have photoshop again?

Thanks!
-Kern

I use Gimp and it seems to work well for me as a free option. Might take a bit to figure out but once you do it works well :)

GIMP is fantastic! Totally free and has many (maybe not all, but many) of the bells and whistles that Photoshop has :)

I used GIMP for years before I needed to switch over to photoshop for school. Highly recommend procreate if you have a iPad and looking for a more drawing based program, i think its only a couple dollars in the App Store.

Krita and FireAlpaca are wonderful alternatives and are both entirely free. Krita is simple enough to use, and also has advanced features to go in-depth with your art. It also supports drawing tablets, and has many different brush packs you can download for it. You can also edit the brushes. It has built in filter tools, and is very easy to crop with.

Thank you guys for your suggestions!

I am going to see about tackling GIMP, as I have heard of it a few years back and almost tried it then. <3

Thank you to everyone for taking the time to respond with your suggestions! :D
