Yes agreed- invest in barns for decently useful studs and plenty of mares and it pays for itself in no time

Yep, I have a barn 'Quest boys' for most of my homo studs (but my RbRb is retired as of now ☹️)

I skip any fut, member show, fed, or HEWG quests, and I also just don't have the patience for mini games. I also don't particularly go for maps, they're cool, but i'm too lazy to sort the captures lmao

If you do quest I really recommend having your own quest studs. It has made it so easy with the breeding ones.

Yesss love the breeding ones! Those, crafting, fetch and explore are my main bulk, then I'll do the paddle one if it pops up when I'm on PC and I try to keep any brindles back that might be premium for that quest. Capture quests depend- I'll always do the 50 and I try and do the 25 with free passes if I build up enough. Then keep the wilds aside to rate them as and when they're useful

The breeding quests go rather fast (unless it's brindle) and right now I have 2 showing quests - one is more than half finished) and I also like the explore ones and some of the mini games I do anyway. The palomino P has been sitting in my log for a while. But it gives 8 +20 maps and I am not skipping that

I knock out quests on each account till I get to ones I either don't want to do or can't do and call it that for the day XD

I do a lot of the showing and breeding quests - hence the 300 quest specific horses I have >.>

Ack yeah it is sad when Gemma's an arsehole. I tend to try and have one long-term quest like an explore, then 2 slots for quicker quests and as the day goes on try to end up with no skips left and at least 1 show quest

For those of you who don't know, I have a pretty unique art style. I hand repaint all of my horses. I've been working on a more realistic style of shading, but I've taken a break due to lack of motivation. I've been a little discouraged because me art doesn't get a lot of attention, auctions are empty, my shop if slow. And It's kinda discouraging. I was thinking about maybe going back to the traditional body prep, because I did that in the beginning, and my work would be higher quality. I just don't know if I want to give up on my style.
There's my gallery if you'd like to see my work.

Okay so I like the fact you repaint all the horses, it's your own style and I honestly think it looks good.
however, I would definitely try adding more shadows/lighting on the horse. Don't be afraid to go in with the darker colours! Especially under the head, neck, legs etc. the muscle detailing on the horses is fine, and quite well done. But shadowing/lighting is one thing that sticks out for me.
you could add those in different ways! Either go in and paint them as you did, or duplicate the horse layer, darken it then erase the parts that don't need shadow. This is also how I do my lighting.
Secondly, grounding. I add a slight shadow onto the horses hoof and the floor on a separate layers, gives the illusion that the horse is on the ground. (I see you've done this on some of them)
Theyre the only two things that stick out to me.
dont be discouraged! Art is just trial and error at the end of the day. :)
if that didn't make sense I'm sorry LOL, but if you need further help don't hesitate to PM me :)
