fast food has gotten so bad. not health-wise, but just taste. mcdonalds fries are NOT what they used to be and they charge eleven bucks for a whole meal? I can walk into a grocery store and buy something yummier and healthier for half the price

I am pretty strict with what I eat since my goal is staying lean while building muscle, and I recently had a 10 piece McNugget and Medium fry from McDonalds after golfing, and then later half of a Domino's pizza- let's just say my stomach is not a fan of greasy fast food anymore :X

What i recommend doing is watching and researching tutorials on youtube and online. I especially recommend watching Amanda's tutorials, which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBja60SdRTmGBaypsBgyowg

And for someone just getting into art the i recomend you download gimp, as its free. If you are unsure of how to use gimp and its tools, there are plenty of good websites that explain how ;).

You also need to decide whether you want to color lineart or photo- manipulate (cut out and merge an image and background), personally I have never attempted to color linearts, and I am self taught (plus youtube and google) in photo-manipulation. As already mentioned by Firgrove, i recommend deviantart is a great source of stock, but make sure you read the HEE rules on crediting art before you make a start ;).
