ok Thanks so much will work on it What do you think of the mane and tail and the dog lol meant to be a big sized gooste of a coyoty (For a comp horses name is coyoty)

@Jumper I'm not sure the part to focus on is really the red tint. The red tint caused your black sabino horse to now look mahogany bay sabinoish. I would worry more about lighting. The dunes/mountains in the background have very strong shadows and highlights. Use these as reference to place matching shadows and highlights on the horse. Then play around with adding a layer on color blending mode to tint the horse. Secondly, I can see that you tried to hide the feet, lol. Personally, I don't think grass is the way to go in this piece. You're better off using a cloud of dust just due to the horse's surroundings. Mild curiouslity, what is the story behind the dog??

@Jumper Ah, ok. The dog makes more sense now :) Little tip on that, make sure the dog's layer is under/behind the horse's. Currently due to the blending mode of the dog's layer, it's tinting the horse mildly strangely. Hair wise. I like the variety of colors. Big thing though; whenever you are drawing hair, it will never be perfectly straight. Hair or strands of hair will always have some sort of curl or twist or something other than just flat. Make sure that as your brush color gets lighter, it also gets smaller. This will help add to realism. That's about all I got for ya. Last thing, make sure the horse has a more visible shadow on the ground <3 |

I haven't done one of these in a while and was bored. I really need help with the hair and also shadows? |

@Diagon The shadows actually match really well currently. The only issue is that it's really difficult to make up the horse. I would reccomend lightening both the horse and the background then usi n layers set to overlay to highlight the horse's topline. Can help with hair once I can see it better 😜 |

Okay, thank you. Is this bright enough? I was having trouble keeping it dark enough because it's supposed to be a night scene but still making it light enough. I can make it brighter if needed. |

@Diagon The brightness of the original background image should work fine because it's already night, lol. The galaxy scene in the background should be an obvious light source. |
