love the mane, the first thing I see though is there's a part in the back right leg missing :) you also want the hair to flow in a more messy sense when its under water, just as human hair does when you swim. Other than that, its just a bit blurry and not very 3D :) sharpening your image and defining muscle details with an airbrush can help with that !

Ok, so one of the main things I notice is the horse appears a little flat. I think simply adding a bit more contrast to him would help a bit, since the background has quite a lot of contrast and I would say he needs a bit more to match it. (Depends on what program you use, but I use GIMP and I would just go into the Brightness-Contrast and increase the contrast, and adjust the brightness if necessary). It would also help if you tried painting in some of the smaller shadows/highlights on the horse, if you want a tutorial I recommend HRS' tutorial, I love the whole tutorial but the part about lighting is really helpful Additionally, the horse's feet appear to be floating and aren't "on the ground" really, one way you could fix this is maybe just make his legs in general darker so his feet would be dark and would almost blend in to the ground better The wing is also a bit small, if you think about it needing to carry the horse's whole weight (though maybe that's partially because some of it is out of the picture), I would make it bigger and also move it down onto the horse's shoulder more And finally I can just see a few tiny spots around the horse's legs where there's a bit of light background left from when you cut out the horse, so just be sure to get all those little bits! Overall, it looks great and I love the concept you chose!

The first thing I notice on this is that his shoulder is practically invisible. You don't want that. I do, however like the orange eye! I would suggest trying a different body prep technique, like using the gaussian blur to slightly blur the horse before you start shading. Also, I would suggest studying the muscles in a horse, so that you know where the little divets and highlights are supposed to be. Another thing to practice is lighting. Trying doing some very simple practice pieces where you go and set a point where light is coming from, and go from there. Also, I would highly suggest using a low oppacity airbrush for shading, rather than changing the entire color of the horse so it looks good.

I am wonder how to price my art, I'm brand new at it & my skills haven't settled into a pattern yet, my favorite & first piece was displayed in chat a few days ago & I immediately was asked what I would charge for a horse avi. I'm also wonder since I'm the mistress of 4 accounts how to keep everything above board & fair. Anything else i should know about but I'm to new to ask about will be appreciated.
