This is very good!
The added highlights and shadows on the horse should be turned to Gaussian blur and have the opacity turn down to something that looks natural, or you can smudge them, as they are very sharp. Other then that, it looks great!

This peice is so pretty! As already stated try and smooth out the highlights
Give more depth to the eye, add some slight shadows and highlights M, same with the mane

I would say the tail needs some texture it looks like on ebig smudge bob to me and the lighitng is good it just looks a hazy/blurry to me maikng it hard to see the horse on that side

Oo, good. Lol, looks amazing! For the mane, usually I take a think dip pen and draw a short amount of the mane, then take a smudge pen (any one that you want) and smudge it at a small size.
After, make a new layer and get a color a bit lighter that the mane color. Then draw a few strokes that follow the mane movement. Take a look at the lighting and where its coming from, then take a light shade of the mane color on a new layer, draw where the light would hit it, then smudge.
