I think it looks great! I would add more muscleing but other than that it really like it!
How would I do that?
Like in the sholders and hip it needs more lines or something there to resmble muscles.
Ok. I'll figure it out. :D

For me the horse is really orange, I know you are trying to get it to match the BG but it just looks way to orange. So I would lighten it up so you get more of a black horse look and not orange horse.

I agree with Lambo. Revert the horses original color to black, then make a new layer. On that new layer set the "layer filter" to Overlay. Next take a large soft brush and turn the opacity down. Sweep the brush over the top of the horse and a bit around the face. If you want to, add a halo to make the horse pop. If you are feeling really artsy I would reference this old post:

I would use a pastel yellow color for the front part of the horse to highlight and a pastel blue for the back. Very small brush size. 1-2 px. After those each have their own layer, set the whole layer to overlay and mess with the opacity. Do this for the entire horse, or parts that you would like to draw attention to such as the face and legs. It will make the image crisper.
I reference Manduh's youtube a bunch for my art, this time stamp might help you with highlighting. It helped me tremendously.

https://horseeden.com/horse.php?id=21069197 The quality is bad, yes. But my program is annoying with quality so I cant do anything about it. But anything else? :) I did try to add a shadow but I cant figure it out how to add a shadow but not make the dust look ugly. Edited at December 1, 2019 11:27 AM by Maqaroon

If you want the shadow to look good then, put the shdow on a diffrent layer than add a layer and put down the shadow, then add a layer above the shadow layer and apply the dust. Hope this helps!

I tried this but it didn't really look good. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong? I don't know, but I appreciate your help!
