Made another art piece! This one was kind of fashioned off of Bells beautiful white stripes that I am so in love with. Would love some critique!

Very nice' Personally, I'd like to see more faint defining lines, and I feel the eye could use some life-- ie redraw it with color.

I like it! What I'd say is make a new layer, clip it to the layer/s of the colorful markings, then take a common color from the background and color the new layer with it. Then lower the opacity of the layer until your near the bottom, and fiddle with it until the colors look natural on the horse. The layer will likely be only a few percents opacity.

Not bad, River. First off-- most people like to rather 1.) see the feet of the horse or 2.) have it closer up to make the piece a headshot. I think the horse could use a tad more matching to the background (same steps as posted above for Cali) but the job you've done for that already is nice. More faint defining lines all around the horse will make it look nicer too. Lastly, the words are hard to read, so pick a different color, font, or bold setting.

It's gorgeous! But that one back hoof touching the grass seems odd to me. It needs something to make it look like it is really in the grass instead of chopped off lol. And the shadow underneath seems to dark, I'd lighten the opacity and maybe erase little strands to show more pokes of green to show that the grass is still there
