I'd love any kind of critique for this piece including what tier you'd put it in, and how much you would pay :D I'm quite happy with how she turned out and I think I'm continuing to pick up more techniques

Did you colour change that horse? Lemme have a shower and I'll type up a critique :)

Breezie, I think the piece is very nice! But here's a few things you may want to focus on in the future: 1. Horse Anatomy, it is very very important to understand when you're making art. The lines in the stomach are very exagerated and unrealistic, now if you up the size of the brush you used and lowered the opacity, then followed the line of the belly (horizontal strokes, not vertical) and just swooped it a couple times, this piece would be absolutely stunning! 2. Cutting the Horse, I can see a few pointy and jagged lines under the belly which was probably caused by the uneven surface from the girth strap on the original stock image. Try to revise details like this and smooth them out before getting too far ahead to the point where you can't fix things like that. What I do is I cut out, color change, reduce noise, and smudge the horse at the original stock image size. I find it stupid easy to do and to keep a detailed look to the image when I put it to the size I want it at later on. 3. Hair, this detail goes for manes, tails, and floofy feets like this Clyde has (: When I do hair, I first emphasize the direction I want it to flow in (ALWAYS pay attention to the atmosphere of your back image, it is easy to get caught up in your own idea and not realize that the hair you just spent hours on is flowing in the wrong direction... im talking from experience ok lol) Keep this initial messy flowy hair separate from the final, that way you can refer to it when highlighting and such. Specifically for feet, just small wavy strands blowing in a similar direction as the mane/tail all around where visible hair lines are seen on your horse and of course at the bottom of the hooves. Hope that helps! (:

Lessen your highlights. It's very cloudy yet you have some very extreme highlights and shadows on the horse :)

Critique? I'm not satisfied with this, but hey, I'm not sure what to do.
