We had a pretty decent snow "Storm" at the end of January. We got like an inch and everything was shut down because the south doesn't do snow XD

We've had hardly any snow at all T-T. But we recently got a big storm and got quite a few inches, but that's about the only time it's snowed this year.

Well speaking of snow. We aren't supposed to be getting any precipitation today just extreme cold all day, but I open the door and it is snowing like crazy (crazy for the south XD so like hardly at all)

Same, Sonny. I just got done working in the mountains of NC before winter got too bad and starting working near the coast. We've got snow more often by the coast than the mountains right now. It's wild.

Hallo

A few people have been asking me to do some tutorials on how to draw people, so I figured I'd start with my favorite thing to draw. The profile. Also called the side-view. It's important if you're showing a character's facial structure and features.

I apologize if the process is short. My drawing process is only like 3 steps xD

(1) Block out with shapes. Everyone can be modeled in shapes. They are amazing building blocks to help guide. A really good method is to make sure you block out the jaw angles.

(2) Block in any defining features, like ears and noses.
(3) Draw the face! I did both male and female profiles in my style, and you can clearly see that the female profile is a little more curved and delicate, while the male profile is more angular. Not all people are like this, but for the basis of examples, that's what I went with.
(Finished!)
If you have any questions, or need anything further explained, reply or send me a PM :) I'm always happy to help.
And make sure you check out Artists Anonymous, where we can help you.

Another Tip:
Look at anatomy pictures, and if possible, print them out and draw over them with the shapes that you see. This is just a practice to understand blocking and understanding form.
