Crow Corpse's Art Journey Horse Edition | Hello! My name is Brooke, but you can call me Crow, Corpse, or whatever floats your boat. I am a young female with a passion of drawing, and have been doing digital art for 3+ years now, drawing for over 5. Upon recently returning to HEE, I wanted to start drawing horses, seeing that I am strictly a canine artist. And there is nothing wrong with that, I am very happy about where I am, but, I wanted to expand on what I draw, and I decided to do horses :) Basically, every few days I will be posting here with a new horse drawing. Wether it be sketches, studies, shaded pieces, doodles of horses, etc. That way it will be easier to keep track of!

(open to enlarge)One thing I noticed about drawing horses, just from this one sketch, is how much their leg is a bit more thinner than I thought. I used to always attempt to draw them thicker, which to be honest, this image is not the greatest anatomy, but I do think the legs turned out. Now the face ;-; I could not do for the life of me. I'm not going for anything too realistic, but the urge to just make it like a canine's muzzle was too strong lmao. I do think it turned out alright, but obvious improvement can be made. I do realize that some horses' faces and nose are shaped differently, however, I'm also not going for a specific breed here. My own resources were used for reference :) Edited at June 7, 2021 10:45 PM by Crow Corpses
