Yeah, pretty much. She was seen as a way to get money and after she was spayed, they more or less dumped her since she couldn't make them money anymore
..Although, it's turning out that I'm becoming the exception to that rule lol. I found out after the fact that she doesn't like being touched around the front of her neck/the groove next to her esophagus
It wouldn't surprise me. I read an old library book once, that said some abused horses will be fine or even act like you aren't there... until someone goes to handle them. O.o
Another incedent happened today. I went out with my family for the day and when we got back my dad found Jello dead in their cage. I beileve the cold has killed him as it's now winter and the budgies aren't in the warmest room in the house if anything their in the coldest, lesson learnt australian birds can't stand New Zealand winter. We are moving Glacier and Nellie to the warmest room in my house instead. So sad the only reason we looked was because Glacier and Nellie were hanging at the entrance of the nest box (they never bred Jello kinda claimed the box when I first got him) Why does everything keep dying April and March worst months ever I swear.
My grandad passed away on Saturday, so in memory of him we are getting a little ginger kitten named Elmo. Elmo was the name of my grandads beloved cat who passed away a few years ago.
We decided he didn't really suit the name Elmo and we also didn't want to accosiate our own animal over a passed one. My younger sister claimed him so she got to chose the name instead. His name is George after her faborite youtuber lmao, he also will not stay still so none of the photos I got of him are very good. ^^
