hes currently soaked in sweat after every ride since he has what would be a full winter coat for a lot of horses and its still like 70-80 degrees out..
he still has like a lot more hair to grow too

same angel, it only gets below freezing a couple times a year, but most people dont ride when it does.
my horse is apparently prepared to move to canada so i just put a quarter sheet on him and some boots and keep us moving lol

We dont ride if its Below freezing because its not good for the horses health mainly because they are not used to it as it doesn't happen but once or twice a year

yeah, the arena usually gets fucked. but our pastures are pretty good so i just ride in the pasture when the arena is bad.

Round here a lot of people stop riding in winter because it gets dangerous with how slick and wet things get. You almost have to have an indoor arena.

theres something about wandering around a forest with your horse thats more fun when theres no leaves

Foggy`s first art...and there is no, um, fog.

Confused...

It`s an adorable piece with the perfect touch of shading on the undergrowth and lines of contrast in the horse`s anatomy....dark is hard to delineate! Really well done.
