KPH Equestrian said: KPH Equestrian said: I love it! Auction tiers would definitely help organise things, but it may cause an issue- either you have to go through tier1/2/3/4 are shops to get to their respective auction location, or it adds a whole bunch of links where tiers and auctions currently are on the main forum page. If you have to go through the art shops, it may get confusing for new players. Maybe add a new board/section for art auctions, having all the tiers and an auction section. I'll edit in a few hours with a screenshot of what I mean, gotta go :3

Would you be willing to transfer this image to a post Sagebrush made in the suggestions? There's a post suggesting art auction tiers, and I like it much better like this rather than put in the same category as art shops

This is true... I just hope someone steps up and gives us answers at this point because alot of us are some of the main art creators here and truly keeping this rule will not only effect us, but the entire art community no matter the Tier... I feel that people should be allowed to Date remind, reply to compliments, give compliments on people's auctions, thank people etc without thinking it's going to fall under this "bump" rule... KPH Equestrian said: AestheticcEquine said: Could not agree more! Would they also like people to not comment on auctions they arent bidding on? This whole thing is ridiculous... After Dark RID said: My take as an artist & art buyer.. this is a ridiculous stand to make. Do some people use end date reminders & such to bump? Sure. But also, if the post isn't being 'bumped' constantly.. so?? High volume of auctions means posts get pushed back. The auction thread isn't Sales Chat where uninterested people get spammed; people looking through the art auctions are choosing to do because they, low and behold, want art. How the hell are you going to police people, exactly, for not using perfect timing to remind of end dates? To thank people for bids or compliments? To answer questions on custom or YHH's?
Unless someone is writing 'bump' or otherwise advancing their post on a daily basis.. this is just not a big deal.
Very. I think it'd be plain rude to not thank people for compliments, just like irl. You're not going to give someone the silent treatment after they just said they love your outfit. I don't think there's been an issue with bumping other than a handful of new players not knowing better.

At this point, it doesn't really seem like they care. I vote we continue doing what we've been doing, if they choose to give us a warning on the post we direct them here and tell them that they need to clarify here and read everything the community has been talking about on this thread. At this point I'm going to continue answering people, date warn etc. If they can't even bother to give us answers then why follow something that doesn't make sense? It's always alright for the mods... a regular member does something though and there is a big kick up.
