Ally, awe that sucks. Yeah when I introduced my two I had to do it slowly and was worried they would fight and declan but they didn't. Luna (the youngest and first one I had) was the aggressor but only showing dominance. As they will have a dominant in a group who is in charge basically. But theyve settled down since the initial arguments and now cuddle together

Are you off to a show? Working towards your Bronze or Silver medal or even Olympic Gold? Are you practicing your flatwork? Or are your showing a new level test for the first time?

Senior Party

You heard right! It's all about the aged horses here! It's a retirement party for all those who have given us their best life. They have so much left to live - but deserve an extra special day to celebrate just how special they truly are. Bring your mature horses to this party!

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult Horse/Pony - Must be 17 or Older

Tack Requirements:

‣ Unicorn Horn, Antlers, Top Hat, or Bunny Ears

Decor Requirements:

‣ At least One (1) Decor Item

Background Requirements:

‣ Background relating to your Senior Party Theme

When you walk into the barn, it's their nicker that you don't hear. Heart racing, you head to their stall and see the old horse dozing in the sun. A sigh of relief escapes your lips as you take a moment to watch the beloved senior resting.
When did their muzzle turn grey, and their eyes become so sunken, maybe a few more flakes of hay and an extra scoop of grain will fill out their ribs. You can't even bring yourself to think of the near future where one day, they won't be in the barn. To put off that grief - you instead decide to celebrate their life and all their accomplishments with a PARTY!

Color Of The Rainbow

Dress up your horse in One or All of the Available HEE Colors!
Black, Brown, Coral, Dark Green, Gold, Grey, Magenta, Maroon, Mint, Navy, Olive, Orange, Pink, Plum, Purple, Red, Royal Blue, Sky Blue, White, and Yellow

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult -OR- Foal Horse/Pony

Tack Requirements:

‣ At least Two (2) Color Matching Items (Or all 20 available colors)

Background Requirements:

‣ Background relating to your Color of the Rainbow Theme

Whether you have a Favorite Color (or your horse does!) or one that you think looks great with your pony - dress them up and show them off! But what to do when you can't pick just one? Pick them all! One of the hardest test of horsemanship - eventing is the equestrian triathlon. Compiled of three phases that challenge the horse and rider. Dressage - The finesse of partnership through a series of intricate movements. Cross Country - a daring course of natural obstacles to be conquered by a courageous partnership. Show Jumping - Bright and colorful fences arranged to challenge precision and speed. The best partnership of all three phases comes out victorious

Background Requirements:

You pull into the field already lined with trailers, finding a perfect spot to unload. You've only have a few minutes to take off the shipping equipment and tack up in your dressage gear before mounting up and heading to the warm up ring. The dressage judge dings you in and you trot up to begin the test.

A little bit later and you've switch gear for colorful jump tack to tackle the cross country course. 3, 2, 1, Have a Great Ride! And you're off! Galloping over the grass field, taking ditches and logs in stride heading into the woods!

Exhilarated and breathless, you finish walking your horse out, checking the legs for any bumps or cuts. You've only got a couple minutes and then have to head to the jog up to see if you make it through to the final phase - Show Jumping.

Your horse shifts beneath you as you stand at the in-gate waiting for your turn. You've studied the course and been fortunate enough to watch a couple rounds so you're fairly confident. The clock beeps and you're let into the arena. A quick trot around the scary fence and you pick up a forward canter, dashing past the starting line headed for the first jump!

Mare & Foal

After anxiously analyzing potential breeding matches, your foal is finally here!

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult Horse/Pony

‣ Foal Decor -OR- Foal Entry

Tack Requirements:

‣ Must have at least One (1) tack item on the Mare

‣ If not using a Foal Decor Item,

Foal entry must have One (1) tack item

Decor Requirements:

‣ At least One (1) Decor Item for Mare (& Foal)

Background Requirements:

‣ Background relating to your Mare & Foal Theme

‣ If not using a Foal Decor Item

- Foal must have a matching background

Notes:

» Mare & Foal do not have to be related but should look as though they are dam and offspring.

» Only Mare entries utilizing Foal Decor Items could have 'twins'

Show Hunters

All eyes are on you! Perfection is what you are striving as you strut your stuff under the watchful gaze of the judge. Smooth & Sleek, Braids & Quarter Marks, Oiled Hooves & Fleece Pads - you look the part, but will you crack under the pressure of being perfect?

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult Horse/Pony

Tack Requirements:

‣ Fleece Saddle Pad

‣ Jumping Saddle

Background Requirements:

‣ Background relating to your Show Hunter Theme

It's the spring circuit and you are on top of the world! Flaunt your best side in the under-saddle classes and dominate those eight jumps in the over-fences classes. Show off your adjust-ability in the handy round - and maybe you'll just take home the champion ribbon.
Whether you're competing in Short Stirrup classes, Medals, or doing your best in a Derby class - go in there and give it your all!

Dapper Dapples

The signs of good nutrition, good grooming, or some genetic phenomenon - a horse with dapples surely turns heads!

Entry Must Include:

‣ Adult Horse/Pony

‣ MUST have Dapples! Natural or Grain Fed

Tack Requirements:

‣ At least Two (2) Tack Items

Excludes items from the 'Extras' Section

Background Requirements:

‣ Background relating to your Dapper Dapples Theme

Those beautiful spots across a horse's coat that show lighter and darker versions of the overall color. Sometimes they are round and near perfect across the horse's body and sometimes they are star shaped or appearing scattered. Let's see your gorgeous horse or pony strutting their pattern out on the show ring floor!

• Get Creative! Many tack and decor items can be used multiple ways!

• It is highly encouraged to be creative and think outside the box - you don't have to use traditional tack always, as long as it can be reasoned, it will be accepted.

• It is not required to be extravagant - if you only have an item or two, go for it! Show off your pretty pony!(Please Message Boulder Creek if you require assistance with items or tack!)

While out on a trail ride, you noticed something quite strange! Here and there and hidden all around were colorfully decorated Eggs!

Entry Must Include:

No more snowy days - it's warming up and the sun is shinning. Well it was - now it's raining and the barn yard is a mud field.

The plants are growing and the tulips are blooming! Ahchoo! and my allergies are making it impossible to breathe.

Whatever your view on Spring - it means we're that much closer to Summer!
