"I don't think that's a talent or an ability" she laughed. The doctor came in "alright Sage tomorrow morning after breakfast you can leave"

He grunted and nodded at the doctor. "It's something. Just dont know what yet," he chuckled. In all truth, he had been counting down the minutes until he could leave. He wanted out. He wanted to go back out to where he could be free. He would miss the girl a bit - she was nice, and she was kinda fun to be around. But he could forget about her easily enough. Just like he could forget everyone else he had been by. If course, most of those people were dead, but that was irrelevant.

Amber looked at the doctor, her face dropped from her happy expression she just had.
Time to be on your own again Amber! He's just a boy you'll get over him soon enough

Sage was staring out the window and didnt notice Amber's face drop. He glanced at the clock - it about 1 pm now. A little less than a day and you'll be free again. A small pang shot through his chest when he thought about how that would mean leaving Amber for good, but he ignored it. He wasn't sure what it meant, but he didnt want to stick around to find out. She lives on the streets too, though. I'm sure I'll see her around. Even if I dont talk to her.

"Where do you hang around" she asked suddenly "maybe we'll see each other around"

He shrugged. "Wherever. Everywhere. Outside." He looked over at her. "I'm sure we'll run into each other as much as I move around."

Amber shrugged and nodded "alright" Amber left the room, not wanting to feel whatever she was feeling in that moment in time anymore. What's wrong with you?!! He doesn't care and neither do you!

Sage flopped back down onto the bed with a grunt and closed his eyes. His broken rib sent a pang up his side when he flopped down, but he ignored it. He fell asleep after a while, purely out of boredom.

Amber went and did rounds with the nurse to keep her mind occupied "I think I might leave tonight if that's ok" Amber said to the nurse. "Keep yourself safe then deary alright" the nurse smilied, it was a weary smile though. Amber nodded and disappeared from the hospital, she went back to the streets.

Sage slept for a while, then amused himself by swinging his dagger around. He ate some food, and then wore himself down whipping the longsword around. The next morning he shoved some food into his face and opened the window, taking off. He went into the woods and settled by the river, glad to be back out.
