Amber opened her eyes again after a while. "Thanks" she muttered "for getting me out.." she sat up "god I'm soaked" her body was trembling from the cold.
He chuckled. "We're both wet." He raised his arms in a shrug. "I would make a fire, but it's still pouring out, and I don't have any wood."
| |
Amber sat against the cave wall bringing her knee to her chest to trap whatever body head her had left and then remembered her bag had bread in it. "Could you open my bag? There's bread in it, take some if you want...there should a loaf and a half in there"
He shrugged and grabbed her bag. "It might be wet," he mentioned as he walked over to her and sat down next to her. He took out the half loaf, which was a bit damp but not too wet to eat, and broke it in half, handing some to her and keeping half for himself.
| |
"Hey I didn't say take half" she joked while bearly being able to rip a chunk of bread off and eating it.
He rolled his eyes. "Well considering you literally have thousands of dollars worth of cash on you, I think you can stand me taking half," he chuckled.
| |
"Pickpocket's the charm!" She said proudly while stuffing her face with bread and laughing slightly.
He snorted and nodded. "It's pretty handy. Although I usually steal food or weapons, not things to get cash for."
| |
"Cash equals good weapons and good food Sage" She looked at him before closing her eyes and sighing.
He shrugged. "Yeah, but it takes more time to pickpocket multiple people, give the stuff to someone, get the cash, and then buy whatever it is you want when you can just steal the stuff you want."
