Amber laughed and winced "not when your walking through crowds of people then killing the dealers dog to get your money" she put her hand on her chest "fuck it hurts"
He shrugged. "or you could kill the dealer, take all the money, and run the shop yourself which will result in more cash." Then he nodded. "I had to whack you pretty hard to get the water out of your lungs."

Amber laughed with pain shooting through her chest again "that's not how it works Sage!" Amber started to get the sniffles and a little cough every time she a sentence. "Ah here, I will go to the hospital when this storm dies down, I don't have the right medication with me right now"
He grunted. "It worked." Then he gave her a look. "You gonna make it all the way to the hospital? You can barely talk as of right now."
| |
Amber waved him off "I can get there..one way or another.......I always have and always have. I must leave here soon anyway, I might end up running into dad"
He grunted. "Well I can help I guess."
| |
Amber shot him a look "what do you mean?" She didn't know wether to feel confused or scared of what he said
He grunted. "I mean, I'll walk with you and make sure you actually get to the hospital."
| |
She sighed "only if you want, but I'm sure I can manage" she started spluttering and coughing even more and some more water came up. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand "oops"
He raised an eyebrow and then shrugged. "I'm not doubting you, but I'm not going through all the trouble of saving you to have you collapse on the way to the hospital," he chuckled. "Besides, it's something to do that'll keep me out of trouble. At least for a bit."
