West finally shook his coat, ingnoring the pain. He lifted his head and walked around the roundpen, limping heavily but still forcing himself around. The panels seemed sturdy, all except for in one place where they were rotten and falling apart. West saw that it just blocked him from getting into lily's pasture. He wouldn't be free, but this would be better. West took in a breath and aimed a kick at the fence, shattering the boards into splinters. He then squeezed through the small gap with a triumphant, even if tired and pained, grin.

(Hey, can I make a new character for the horse herd RP?) Lily turned her head to see West get out from his pen and into hers. "Wha-" she cried, then quieted herself. "How did you do that?" But the question answered itself. Behind West, Lily could clearly see what used to be a wooden board but was now shattered into splinters. It was clear that West had kicked it and squeezed through the small gap. A smile formed across Lily's face. "Never mind. I already know the answer. You are way too reckless, West. With those wounds..." Lily stopped smiling, a worried frown across her face. Lily struggled to her feet, wincing, and nuzzled West. "I'm glad you're here though."

Sure! If you want to)) - West was just glad he didn't have to move again at the moment. "Well way too reckless has gotten me to do great things no other stallion would do, so I take pride in my reckless personality." He snorted, chuckling slightly. He was thankful Lily was okay, and thankful he was with her. That's about all he needed at the moment. "I'm glad I'm here too, that's why I acted *recklessly* and got over here." West teased, keeping weight off of his injured shoulder.

(Thanks. Sorry I haven't posted, I thought I did *.*) - Lily smiled at West, not sure what to say. "Well, if those humans come out they might try to move you back to the circle pasture... But I guess they would never survive." She joked, tossing her head and glancing at the shack. "I just don't really want you fighting while you're already hurt..."

|
"You're completely right, they would NEVER survive. I am staying with you, the end." West said with a contended look, resting his front leg which wasn't normal but eh, he was injured. "Aw don't worry about me. I'll be perfectly fine if I deem necessary to fight." He commented with a smile, then started to eat mouthfuls of grass since he really hadn't eaten before they captured him.

Lily grinned, and decided it was time to stop worrying about West. He could handle whatever happened. Lily stick close to West and began eating as well, always keeping an eye on the little shack. At that moment, the door to the little building burst open, and out came two men.

West ate until he heard the door slam, his head flying up and his ears pinning as two men came out. -They are not touching me or Lily ever again- he thought with a fiery look in his dark, usually gentle eyes. He stood still, but kept an eye on the men, almost as if glaring.

Lily stepped back, worried the men would try to get her if attempts to get West failed. The two men stopped, and they conversed. "Well lookie here. The stallion jumped the fence 'n now he's eatin' the mare's grass. Recon we should try an' move im?" The first asked the second, and they were quiet for a few seconds. Then the second said, "I dunno. Should we ask boss?" The first: "I guess so. Don't wanna hurt 'im anymore, but we're supposed t' keep 'em seprate..." Then they went back inside the shack and couldn't be heard anymore. Lily shivered, and went back to eating.

West's ears pinned tighter against his head as the men stopped and looked at him. He swished his tail, still cradling his front hoof in the grass. If the men came in here, they were easily dealt with, but if they brought a lasso... or a dog... or, worse, a gun, he was kinda.. er.. dead.

(Sorry I haven't posted in a while! :b) - Lily looked at West. He looked... Could it be? Was West scared? "Hey West..." Lily said, gently nudging him with her nose. "Are you okay?"
