He shrugged. "Yeah, well, the world is cruel sometimes. It's sometimes all we can do to survive." Then he nodded. "Emotions will only make things worse. If ya nip the positive feelings in the bud and hide 'em away it's easier."

"Agreed" Amber sighed with relief.

"Well after your beating that happened a few days ago, you can go, got the all clear a few minutes ago" she smiled slightly with once side of her mouth quickly

He smiled slightly. "Cool." He stood up and put his hands in his pants pockets. "I guess if you ever wanna talk, you'll find me. You know where my hiding places are. Well, most of them anyway."

She fidgeted slightly "em yeah sure"

she got up to leave "well you don't know all of mine but you know one" she nodded her head slightly and left the room

He nodded and then climbed out the window, dropping to the grass lightly and jogging into the woods. He let out a breath of relief to be back outside, since being inside a building brought back too many memories. He didn't want to necessarily forget his past, since they defined who he was, but he also didn't want to have them in the foreground of his memories either. He climbed a tree by the river and settled there, watching for any prey that might pass by. He wasn't really hungry, but he might be later, and it never hurt to have extra food.

Amber walked down the street, filling her pockets of new stolen items as she went. She got to a pawnshop, sold her pickpocketed items for cash and bought some new clothes as her's were getting a little too grubby for her liking.

she freshened herself up in a bathroom nearby and went back out onto the streets. Back to her daily grind

Sage lay around for a while before he saw a small herd of deer in a field nearby. He decided to go try and kill one, so he jumped out of the tree and grunted with the impact since his side was still a bit sore. He shrugged and jogged off towards the deer quietly so he didn't startle them on his way over

There was a massive street market going on so Amber decided to take a look, see what she could possibly steal.

She looked around eagled eyed looking for something she could sell for a hefty profit. It was her dream to set up her own business. So far she has $782.73 saved up.

Sage killed a deer and then watched as the rest of the herd ran off. He dragged the deer over to the tree line where he cleared a spot for a fire and made a fire before starting to skin and clean the deer.

Amber went to a carpenter and asked if she could use his timber and tools to create something. In return she would do it herself and pay him. He agreed and she got to work. She spent a day and a half creating a masterpiece which she sold at the market for a whopping price of $3600!!
with over $4k in her pocket, Amber finally starting setting up an art shop at the entrance to the local market. She put her own art up for sale
