Dixie froze. She didn't know if she should tell her adopted daughter or not. She looked at West for advice. "Yes honey. I am" she smiled and nuzzled the filly. Dixie kept her eyes on West

Ebony perked her ears as she waited for an answer, her head held high and tilted. At Dixie's answer she smiled widely. "I can't wait to have a baby brother or sister." She squeaked, pressing herself close to Dixie's side. - West glanced away with a small snort, like, *Sorry, you're on your own with this one*. He was impressed. Ebony had figured that out quickly.

Dixie giggled as Ebony pressed against her side. "I'm excited too" She looked up at West with a smile.

Dixie snorted. "That's what Ebony said" she glanced at West to see what he would do. She didn't plan on leaving his side and he didn't seem like he was leaving hers either. She was carrying his foal after all.

West nodded with a small smile, turning his gaze back to the forest before jumping halfway to the top of Mt Everest when Ghost snuck up behind him and spooked him. "Yikes! I'm too old to almost be given heart attacks!" He huffed, stomping a hoof as he calmed himself down again. "I will say again, I'm NOT GOING TO EAT ANYONE." He snorted, his ears pinning slightly at the words. "Yes, Ebony, please be very careful and stay near an adult. I don't want you getting hurt." He commented, worry lacing his voice as he looked around more nervously now, his ears swiveling. - Ebony laughed as West jumped up. "Nice job, Walrus." She teased Ghost before listening to his warning.. and West's. "Will do. Don't worry, I'm not leaving Mom for a while anyway." She smiled sweetly as she nudged Dixie's leg.

Dixie lowered her head to graze when West jumped. "I thought you were on high alert mister" she teased before nuzzling the filly beside her. "Yes. Please stay here. If anything happened to you I would die and you know your Dad would too. "

West flicked an ear with a small huff. "I am. Facing this direction." He snorted, though his head was lifted higher now and he was surveying everywhere. - Ebony tossed her mane. "Guys, I already said I'd stay close. No need for dramatic dying. Thank you." She giggled, prancing around a little before sniffing the grass and eating some.

Dixie rolled her eyes. She stepped forward a few steps before picking up a trot. She stopped a few feet away and dropped her head. She folded her legs beneath her and rolled. "Oh it feels so good" she pulled herself to her hooves with a huff and shook off the dirt

West didn't want to leave Dixie's side- or Ebony's- but he stayed where he was when Dixie only went a couple feet away. He could deal with that. Everything was quiet and nice at the moment, and he intended to keep it that way for as long as possible.
