Dixie rolled in the water, feeling more and more rfreshed the more she rolled. She took deep breaths then heaved herself back up to her hooves. She felt hungry, but she didn't have the appetite to eat grass. what she really wanted spas some of that grain stuff that Ghost had told her about. +where can I get some of that?+ she thought as she eyed the fields

Mystery looked over as Dixie approached a new mare, excited, Mystery galloped on over and stood next to Dixie and Ghost "Hello! I'm Mystery! I love your coat! So pretty! And your name sounds lovely too!" (Lol typical Mystery) She said in a desperate attempt to make a new friend, when Dixie went to the stream Mystery smiled and nudged Jewel "you can come too if you'd like" Mystery offered kindly before Galloping off to the stream. She laid in the water and sighed "She's pretty... How are you holding up?" She asked Dixie with a grin

Jewel got slightly overwhelmed when a third horse came over, but that was because she'd been alone for so long. Jewel could tell that this dapple grey stallion was the leader so she bowed her head "Hello, West. Yes my name is Jewel." She said nodding to what Dixie said, she saw a golden mare come over too "Oh hello there Mystery, thank you I like yours too. It's shiny" She nodded offering a friendly smile as Dixie and her skidded away. She looked at West "Thank you, West, but I'm not looking for a herd. I'm looking for-..." Jewel paused, trying to figure out WHAT she was even looking for. A bomb exploding in her heart when she realized she wasn't looking for anything "Yeah actually... I was looking for a new herd to stay in for as long as possible.." She admitted shyly, she lowered her head "Thank you. And sorry if I seem strange, it's been a tough 3 or so years for me" Jewel spoke softly and calmly, she passed by West and Ghost and cautiously walked closer to the herd, she looked around than sighed, Jewel looked at the grass in front of her thinking about those mares offers, but ended up eating instead

Willow saw the new mare walking into the herd, she tilted her head at first but than realized she was new and walked over with a huge grin "Hi! Welcome to the herd! I'm Willow!" She said in a high pitch tone

Jewel stopped grazing and looked at a mare who came over, the mare was kinda short but looked a lot like Mystery "Oh hello Willow, I'm Jewel! It's nice to meet you! And thanks" She said with a smile

Dixie looked up at Mystery. "She is really pretty. I'm fine. I just got really hot. I'm good now though" she reassured her. "I do have to say that I am worried that something is going to happen and it is going to be bad. Or that I'm going to miscarry. I'm scared Mystery" she said sadly as she looked down at the water

Mystery's ears pricked back as Dixie spoke "What... Why? I really hope not.... But if something will go wrong? I hope it's something random and not you miscarrying... I'd hate for that to happen to you... I know how it feels" Mystery grew sad herself, both for Dixie and for her own past "Did Macy or West tell you Willow was a twin? Her brother Chase didn't make-..." Mystery couldn't finish her sentence, she closed her eyes tightly and fought her tears as she got up and stood near Dixie "It won't happen to you too.. This herd doesn't have that kind of bad luck" Mystery tried to reassure her offering a half fake smile, she thought she moved on.. But mentioning her own experience just brought it all back

Dixie was starting to return to her normal self but then when Mystery brought up a twin, Dixie froze. "What? Oh Mystery I am so sorry!" She stepped over to her, nuzzling her.

Mystery shook her head, a single tear flying "It's fine... But I think you'll be fine, the reason I miscarried was because of a stallion who took Angel, I tried to help her but the stallion kicked me to the ground then kicked my stomach.. So really Willow shouldn't be here... You know how she's significantly short? And how her face is dinted like a Arabian? That's why... She was injured when I was pregnant and got attacked. That's also why she seems slow sometimes I think... After I saw my colt I went through horrible emotions, I ended up taking him up the mountain and burying him with flowers. West agreed to watch Willow while I did so... He's been a great role model and father figure to Willow. Count yourself lucky Dixie, he really cares about you and will NEVER let you get hurt. Or your foal, neither will I or Macy or Ghost" Mystery turned from depressed to determined, then her voice turned super soft and emotional as she whispered "I'll have to bring you up to meet Chase one day... But I don't think Willow knows yet that she has a big brother so please keep this between us and the others" She asked nuzzling Dixie's stomach when her nose was shoved "Oh geez... Feisty little baby aren't you" Mystery chuckled with a sigh stepping back "I... Want a second chance as a mother" She said almost in a dream-like state

Dixie nodded solemnly. "I understand. And I'm still very sorry" she looked down at her stomach then suppressed a giggle when her baby tried to kick Mystery. "You'll get one. Or more. How knows ? and you will find someone who will make you so happy that you won't know what to do with that happiness!" She pranced at the thought

Mystery nodded "yeah hopefully. I don't really think Scarlet is that into me which is a shame, we're the same breed and I think he's quite attractive.. But that's okay, I'm sure when the time is right I'll meet someone " She smiled and pawed the ground
