Draein Hravar | Male | Dragon Rustler The sun shone bright in the sky, and the light shone on the young dragon rustler's face as he gazed towards the nearby forest, wondering if the sound he had heard that night had come from there. He didn't know if it came from that general direction, but it was the only place the camp was by that offered shelter and many, many hiding places. He knew that if it was a dragon, and if it was still in the area, he would have to track it down. He had asked around, but no one else claimed to have heard the sound. Because of this, he was determined to find it on his own. He had fought dragons often enough, and one could be easy to trap, if he did it correctly. He turned to collect his things, but as he did so, a rush of wind caused him to look up in alarm at the Ice-Cutter, who was flying above the camp. A few of the other dragon rustlers looked fearful, but to Draein's surprise, they quickly relaxed and returned to their various jobs. This caused him to look closer at the departing dragon, and he saw a figure on its back, who he recognized as the stranger who had stayed the night with them. Grudgingly, he raised a hand in farewell, and continued walking towards the campfire. ~ As he approached, he caught sight of a strange blue crystal sitting by the spot the stranger had been, and walking closer to inspect it, he noticed the dazzling light that reflected off of it. That dragon tamer couldn't have left such a thing on accident. He didn't seem like the kind of person to forget things easily. I'm guessing this is some form of gratitude. I should probably take this to the cook. Picking up the strange crystal, he brought it to the cook's tent, and called out to his friend, who was currently cutting up some potatoes. The latter quickly finished cutting up the potato he was holding, and, after dropping it in a bag with the rest of the chopped potatoes, wiped off his hands and came over to Draein. "What do ya need, son?" He spoke cheerfully, his eyes shining. Holding out the crystal, the young dragon rustler replied, "This was left by the dragon tamer. I think he left it for you, since you invited him to stay. If not, he'll come back for it, and you're the best person to keep it." He placed it in the cook's hands, and added, "I have to go. I'll meet up with you all later, but I have some business to attend to." "Ah, the lone hunter is back on the job, eh? Well my friend, I'll make sure to keep this safe. You are an admirable man, Draein Hravar. Take care of yourself." The cook replied with a smile, patting Draein on the shoulder. Draein smiled back in return, saying, "Thank you. Make sure you do the same, alright? I'll see you all in a week or so." ~ With that having been said, he turned away and strode over to his tent, which had all of his belongings. He sifted through these, and placed them in a large backpack; he didn't know how long he would be gone for, so he planned on having a good amount of provisions to take with him. Fortunately, the cook always had packs of numerous provisions already prepared for anyone who was going on a trip, which he normally placed in the large container near the center of the camp. Draein knew where it was, and found it quickly enough. He took one or two packs, enough for a week, and managed to fit them into his backpack. Edited at November 23, 2021 09:30 PM by Etheria

Sarah Phoenix | Female | Serpent-Tongue Speaker | M: Rome, Mason ~ Ryu flew ahead of the others briefly, circling back and hovering. "Well, uh... Here's where we practice, I guess?" Sarah gestured vaguely around at the endless ocean and sky. "I don't actually really know the exact spot where, but uh- we just kinda tell by the distance of the islands. Because, you know. Can't tell your exact place on the ocean, it's always changing." She tucked a loose strand of hair back behind her ear. "Now this trick is more of an experiment, and I might go splat on the ocean. But don't rescue me until it actually looks like it. Okay? Right." She gave Ryu a pat on the neck, and he shot up.

Mason Dee | Male | Dragon-Tamer ♧ Mason slowed down Astic, pushing him up to where Rome had started Iph's hovering. "Seems reasonable." He looked around on the vast ocean, a cloud of birds in the distance. "Uhh alright? I'll be sure to just watch you." He smiled. Rome turned Iph and hopped on Astic's back long enough to thump Mason over the noggin. Then she went back to Iph and grinned watching Sarah shoot up. Edited at November 23, 2021 11:32 PM by iArema

Sarah Phoenix | Female | Serpent-Tongue Speaker | M: Rome, Mason ~ Really hope this works. I really don't want new friends watching me as I splatter on impact. Ryu continued flying until he was at Sarah's oxygen limit, and hovered. He waited patiently for her next move. I must be crazy, doing something like this. Ah well, might come in handy someday. She took a deep breath and tipped sideways, plummeting off of Ryu's back. While she was falling, she struggled to make herself upright and draw her bow. She managed to get her bow, had a little more trouble with nocking a couple arrows. She managed to do this as well eventually. She glanced down and almost screamed. Oh, crap- The ground was rushing to meet her much faster than she expected. Sarah hurriedly positioned her bow and fired the arrows like a crossbow. She shoved her bow back on her back and made it so she was falling stretched out like a starfish, attempting to slow herself. Ryu waited until she had fired her arrows before folding in his wings and dropping like a rock. When he got near to Sarah, he unfolded his wings just a little and spread out his front talons. He caught her by her arms and spread his wings to their greastest extent. Sarah had shrieked when Ryu had caught her, she turned her head to take a look at her left shoulder. It appeared as though she had sucessfully dislocated it. She gave a weak smile and a thumbs-up to Rome and Mason. Edited at November 23, 2021 11:45 PM by Fancy Elites

Rome Dee | Female | Serpent-Tongue Speaker ♧ Rome had about 30 seconds of watching and waiting for something to happen, till she saw a girl drop down, screeching like a ptetrodactyl, Rome plugged her ears with her hands,, make her way down to the ocean, followed by a plummeting dragon who caught her quite fast. Rome dipped down, Iph dove, he flew under Ryu. She hooked her legs and basically swept Sarah out from under Ryu, swinging the three of them around, she sat Sarah down on Ryu's back and lightly as she could with one arm before even bothering to ask if she was okay. "What happened while you fell?!" She yelled, her ears still ringing from the shrieks. "Also, your arms looks dislocated!"

Sarah Phoenix | Female | Serpent-Tongue Speaker | M: Rome ~ Sarah started in surprise when she was set on top of Ryu's back. "Shot a couple arrows at nothing," She twisted around to look at her shoulder again. "Oh, yeah. I definitely dislocated it, no doubt about that." She grinned crazily, "So! What'd you think?" She tore off a sleeve of her hoodie and wrapped it around her shoulder, making a makeshift sling.

Rome Dee | Female | Serpent-Tongue Speaker ♧ Rome pursed her lips. "It looked positively terrifying but effective?" She offered a smile. "You need to fix that arm of yours." She looked at Mason, he looked traumatized. She was assuming that he'd never seen a dislocated arm, nor a screaming, falling girl from god knows how high up. Rome nodded to the nearest shore. "The sooner we figure out how to put it back in place, the better." She said, feeling a bit sorry that she knew how to put it back in place. Edited at November 24, 2021 09:24 AM by iArema

Sarah Phoenix | Female | Serpent-Tongue Speaker | M: Rome, Mason ~ Sarah nodded. "Yeah, okay. And that is a trick I wanted to learn just in case we're fighting and I fall off of Ryu." She rolled her shoulder and winced, glancing at Mason. "You okay? You look like you've just seen a ghost killing another ghost."

Sage, male, dragon freer He laughed. "Where would we even find a flamingo? We're in the middle of the forest!" He pointed to the tape. "He's an orphan we can help. But if you wanna keep him you're gonna have to do most of the work. I gotta find food and free dragons and other shit too." He shrugged. "You just have more time than me." He waggled a pointer finger at her. "But that means no getting hurt. I cant take care of the dragons, you, and the ape," he laughed.
