Peter laughed as he watched the dog. It had been a while since he was this happy.

Harper loped back with the stick happily, she laughed and took it to proceeded throwing it again

"She loves that" Peter smiled "Barney's not so into playing fetch, although he does bring me stuff sometimes. Comes in useful with a bad arm!"

"She sure does love fetch" she threw it again, "That does sound useful" she knelt down and scratched her head, she rolled over to show her billy which Jules was happy to rub.

Barney pawed gently on Jules, wanting attention too when she was down nearer his height. "Someone's popular" Peter winked happily.

"Yes I am" she joked and scratched Barney as well as Harper, she loved Barney almost as much as Harper now.

"I'd join in except I'm not sure I'd get back up!" Peter laughed but his eyes briefly gave away other feelings about the injury. Watching Jules with their dogs soon lifted his spirits again though.

"Id help you back up" Jules laughed, she stood up. She felt like she wanted to hug him but hung back she didn't know he felt about her or them.

"Promise?" Peter asked. Although he felt so much better maybe it would be a good idea for him to have a rest before they walked back.

"Ya" she sat on the ground, patting the ground next to her.
