Dixie's ears perked up at the sound of deer. she paused to watch them, then looked around at the wildflowers. she sniffed some and picked the ugly ones, walking with some pretty and ugly flowers in her mouth as she planed them one by on near the other flower. she had a way with things. she could make anything flurish if she tired hard enough. was that why the males always wanted her as their mate? she shook the memory and continued planting

Once the deer spotted the horses they took off running, Aurora mumbled a "Awww..." sad to see them go since they looked so peaceful. He turned around walking back to the herd, he was super tired so he decided to sleep under a tree near by the herd. He'd shift his weight to one leg letting the other one bend as he swayed his tail keeping bugs away. Aurora quickly fell alseep

West closed his eyes, breathing for a moment. -...ouch- he thought, shaking his pelt, blood shattering everywhere. The gashes weren't that deep.. and only bleeding slightly. He was sure they would stop in a few minutes. Then another mare came over... he looked a little surprised as she put stuff on his wounds but nodded his head in thanks. He turned his attention to Phantom as she walked up. "You will have to change that nickname someday." He rolled his eyes, glancing at his coat and deciding washing off in the lake would be the best way to go. He would not to Phantom, walking off in the direction of the small river that ran out of the lake. If he DID wash off blood... he didn't want it just sitting in the lake. The stallion dipped his neck in the river, splashing water onto his back till he could see no more blood, then paced out and shook with a slight wince of pain. He tipped his head at the deer before deciding he needed to lie down for a couple moments... he knew from experience that being stubborn was NOT the way to go when you had wounds. He walked to the top of a hill where he could see the whole herd, then laid down with a huff. West got To thinking about the mares. Why couldn't they all think like him? Like that one that came up and asked if he wanted to walk... they were all horses... friends. He didn't understand all the ... other stuff. West sighed, wanting to roll to scrub off more blood, but knowing if he did it would make his wounds bleed more. He peered out at the herd, making sure everybody was doing okay

Phantom watched West walk away to go rinse get the blood off him replying "Well for now the nickname will stay cause mr. brawn ain't gonna work!" She laughed softly before going to walk back off to the herd, she stopped before West got far enough yelling so he could hear "Oh and let us know if you need anything!" With that Phantom continued walking back to the herd to graze

West flicked his ears, rolling his eyes. "Mares..." he muttered, not really meaning anything bad. After a couple more seconds he grunted, getting up. Being the stallion he was... he couldn't stay stationary for more than an hour. He walked back down towards the lake, watching for the foals especially. His wounds were healing nicely... even if they were not that old

Aurora got out of the lake shaking water off his coat, -Oh my gosh... It's so cold that was a bad idea- He'd be shivering as he walked to find a warm patch of grass to roll in. After Aurora rolled around he felt a bit warmer but still was shivering when his attention caught on West, he'd look him up and down seeing his wounds. Aurora went trotting up to him asking "What happened?!?! How'd you get the wounds??" His voice wasn't filled with panic or worry but more of excitement

Lilac snorted as she trot around letting the wind blow through her black mane. She stopped suddenly, looking around her she looked at her herd. Lilac whinnied fondly and started walking toward them when her heart stopped. Her eyes landed on the lead stallion...ever since she had joined the herd, which wasn't too long ago, Lilac had been avoiding him. Not because she didn't like him...no...the complete opposite really. Lilac quickly looked away, hoping he hadn't noticed. Lilac quickly looked back suddenly seeing that West had...QUITE a lot of scratches. Her ears bent back a bit as she was worried, and she sucked in a breath. And cantered over to where the lead stallion and Aurora were..."Oh dear, what happened?". Lilac looked to Aurora and then to West, her ears still pinned back she snorted.

Aurora looked back to the sound of cantering hooves to see a bay mare, he'd whinnie softly as if saying hi before anmswering her "I just asked him the same thing but I have no clue how he got them" Aurora then turned and looked at Phantom wondering if that's what she was blocking the him and moon from. "Maybe someone else knows too" His gaze then returned back to West

Moon trotted up to West, Aurora, and Lilac. She said, "Hey West! Nice race earlier! That fall was AWESOME. Anyway, I came to talk about the water." Moon's voice changed from cheery to serious, and she looked West in the eye. "It's dirty. Too dirty to drink. The stream especially, but the lake is bad too. I mean, you know everything, so you'll know how to fix it! Also, how'd you get hurt? That looks really bad." Moon was talking quite fast and it was hard to understand her.

Calisco saw 3 horses standing and talking in a field. She wanted to get up and talk with them, but she was old and growing weaker, even if she was only 10.
