Morrigan | Human | M: James

Caught up in her thoughts, Morrigan jumped in surprise when James' voice sounded next to her. With a hand to heart, she said, "Ah, you scared me. The herds seem a bit restless today." A small smile tugged at her lips at the sight of him, then glanced back at the apricot mare. "I was just observing one of the mares, I believe she's from the herd that came from the mountains. I'd like to try to catch her in the roundup." Morrigan was nervous about the roundup happening. It was still being planned, so today they would just have to wait and watch.

He looked up from where he was standing. The humans had gotten too close. They were watching the herd, and he didn't like it. He pinned his ears and started trotting towards the humans, away from Epona. If I can lead them away it would be preferred. With a new foal on top of not enough food, there's no way we could get everyone to escape if they try and catch one of us. He broke into a smooth, strong canter, trying to look as appealing as possible.

He stopped and ducked to the side, tensing up and preparing for a fight before he realized it was only Flame in front of him. "Relax, I'm not gonna hurt them, I'm just gonna get them away from the herd. This time anyway," he snapped. "They need to go! Every time they start watching us like that, they capture more of our herd members!" He stomped his hoof in anger, beginning to lather as he pranced in place.

"alright your right let's go" she told him as she turned around pinning her ears again this time showing no fear and full leave now or get bit mood towards the humans she pawed the ground sending dust flying around she tossed her head

Morrigan | Human | M: James

Morrigan shook her head at the sudden behavior of the horses, she turned Adonis around swiftly and led him away from the herds. Their behavior today was very peculiar. She wondered, suddenly, if they perhaps had a new foal. It would explain the outbursts from some of the members of the herd.

Corvan trotted alongside his daughter, his anxiety increasing as he watched the human. It didn't help when another human approached, close by the other. I can't let them get Evela. I will not lose anyone anymore! He thought fiercely, bringing his head higher. He knew it was foolish to attack. Fighting a human would mean imminent death, and he still had a duty to protect his herd and his daughter. A sudden noise came from the prairie herd, and he watched in amazement as some of the horses challenged the humans. Do they know how dangerous it is? They obviously don't act like they're afraid. Maybe this is why the prairie herd is as weak as it has been. Snorting in disapproval, he brought his attention back to his daughter, who had reached the rest of the mountain herd. "Evela, stay here! I have to make sure these fools don't bring a massacre upon us." He gruffly instructed the nervous filly. Without waiting for her response, he redirected his path towards the other herd, hoping to bring some sense into them.

Evela was comforted by her father's presence as he accompanied her back to the herd. However, once she was close enough to the rest of the group, Corvan left her, telling her to stay there. She wanted to protest, but he had turned away and started to approach the prairie herd. Why is father so angry? It's not like the prairie herd is being mean to us. She puzzled as she stood there, her fluffy mane fluttering in the breeze. A drip of water on her muzzle surprised her, making her attention turn to the skies, which were now covered in grey clouds. She felt another drop, and another, and another, until she realized it was actually raining. "It's raining! It's finally raining!" She laughed aloud as she half reared, full of happiness and hopeful that things would start to change for the better. She had not noticed the humans yet, so nothing seemed to hinder her joy as she pranced and frolicked, waving her head in the air.

Flarer/Stallion/Horse/Horses

Flarer snorted, looked over the herd and reared up. He sliced his hooves through the air and came back down, he cantered off the rock and trotted around the herd, eyeing them all. He passed all of them and slowed to a walk, slicing through the high grass.
