"Nah, i'm good!" she yelled back at him, kept walking into the trees

Peter urged his mare after them. He loved Cross Country but it was good to admire the scenery at a steadier pace sometimes.

She picked up a trot down the dirt path, pasting the meadow. She smiled to herself and patted Trouble.

Peter watched happily. He was glad whatever got into the stallion yesterday seemed to have passed.
She stopped at a river and dismounted to lead him over to the water where she let him drink. She leaned on him and yawned again.
Peter led Sapphire to the water too. He frowned slightly as he saw Jules yawn again. Of course he didn't know why she was so sleepy.

"I brought you here for a good reason" she points across the river at some cross country jumps, she smiled and remounted trotting to where the jumps are.
"I didn't expect that!" Peter admitted as he looked at the jumps but he followed her over to them.
Since she had her dressage saddle on she dismounted and undid the girth, slipped it off and remounted from the ground. "Ok ready?"
Peter watched her in surprise. "You're gonna jump bareback?"
