Peter was even more concerned to hear that Jules was trying something new with the mare. That probably increased the chance of things going wrong.

"Ready girl" Spring nickered and Jules turned toward Peter, "Want to watch?" she grabbed Spring's reins and waited.

"Sure" He nodded, forcing a smile although he was scared for her.

"Alright we have to walk to the course" she led Spring out of the barn and toward the course.
