‘Is he gone?’ Permafrost looks over her shoulder to check.

“Yeah, he’s gone.” Scorpion confirms. The polar dragon relays the information to the black haired girl. She sighs in relief, tension leaving her shoulders.

“Let’s hope he doesn’t try to pick up our trail.” Permafrost adds, unwinding her tail from her rider - but still keeping close. Serval huffs at the dragon’s words - annoyed by her overprotective nature - but says nothing against her words.

‘We should find some water. I’m rather parched, and I assume that you all are as well.’ The young girl signs, reverting back to normal sign language due to the lack of an audience.

‘Water would do us good. Could try to dilute our scent with it as well.’ The snow-white dragon adds in agreement - the two stingers doing so in a more silent manner. Permafrost - once again - takes the initiative and pushes the group forward in search of water.

He snorted. "Are you kidding? I literally do everything you say," he chuckled. "Think of one time I actually disobeyed you. Complaining doesn't count." He moved over to help Amber put more meat over the fire.

Amber thought for a second "when you actually made Fire Storm try take me him the other night when I said I didn't want to when freeing the dragons!" Amber smiled smugly and continued cooking the deer.

He made a face. "Ok, you got me there. But that was for your own safety!" He put one hand on his hip and used the other hand to gesture at her with the knife. "And you did what you wanted to and almost died! Twice! In one night!"

Sarah nodded again. "Right. I suppose we should go back-? I have some ice at home." She still had a tinge of awkwardness to her voice. Adjusting the makeshift sling, she wandered over to Ryu, who sniffed her anxiously. She gently pushed his face away and gave him a little pat, climbing onto his back.

Rome grinned but tried to cover up the face that she was, because of Mason's utterly embarrassed and terrified face. "Sounds good." They said at the same time, the siblings looked at each other at the same time, squinting and giving suspicious looks before mounting their dragons. Mason pulled himself over the tack and held himself in the saddle, Rome stepped on Iph's leg and wobbled her way to the place she normally sat, hooking her legs. They both took off, but waited for Sarah before they got to far.

Rome waited a few seconds, then headed back in the direction of the island. Landing a few minutes before Mason and Sarah, since Mason waited for Sarah.

Amber sighed knowing he was right.."yeah but it would have been a cool way to die" she smirked, taking the knife off Sage. "Stop waving it about" she chuckled.

He snorted. "Drowning in your own vomit isnt what I would call a cool way to die." He tried to take the knife back, but was laughing too hard to give a full attempt.

Amber stood up and started teasing Sage with his knife, acting like she was going to give it him and pulling it away when he goes to reach for it. "That is a very cool way to die" she smiled smugly

He laughed and shook his head. "It's a horrible way to die, but it's a unique way to go, that's for sure," he chuckled. He reached for his knife again, now giving more than halfhearted attempts to grab it. When Amber pulled it away and retreated to the other side of the fire, he cackled. "Oh, it's on now," he laughed and jumped over the fire, grabbing the knife and wrestling with her for it. Unfortunately, he lost his balance and knocked them both over.
