Amber, female, dragon tamer Amber was left feeling confused. Who was Ny? And why was Amber there in the first place? "so uh did I know you very well?" She turned and looked at the dragon. Kayda nodded and spread out her arms out wide to show her they have known each other a long time "oh.." Amber said with a hint of sadness in her voice. "I will try remember then" she said determined to remember these strangers

Sage, male, dragon freer Sage ran through the forest as quickly and quietly as he could. He ran into a clearing and after a brief skirmish with two guards, he was alone in the camp. He looked around, and upon seeing a cage hidden in the bushes he ran over to it. Fire Storm and Nymeria were both there and they seemed unharmed. "Sage! We were shot with some kind of dart that made us fall asleep! We couldn't fight," Fire Storm yelled. Sage nodded, thinking. "Well, most of the men are dead now. Let's get you guys out of here." He busied himself picking the lock and opened the cage door. The dragons stepped out of the cave, stretching. "Let's get a move on. I don't know if there are any other people around. Also, Amber lost her memory and I left her back where it's safe, but I don't want to be gone for long." He walked over to Fire Storm to climb onto her back when he heard a noise and felt something behind him. He turned and lashed out with his dagger, barely blocking a sword from cutting him in half. He growled as the sword ran down his chest, leaving a bloody line. He lashed out again, bringing the man down, and jumped onto Fire Storm. "Let's go," he gasped out. "But you need to stitch yourself up," she argued. He scowled and shook his head. "I can do that once we get back to a neutral area. Right now we need to leave." Fire Storm sighed and took off, Ny following close behind her. They landed in the clearing with Amber and Kayda and Sage slid to the ground, landing with a slight stumble. "These dragons are also friends," he muttered to Amber before she could get confused.

Amber, female, dragon tamer Amber stumbled backwards before Sage told her they were friends. "Oh ok...hey your bleeding!" She took out her notebook "I'm sorry I usually know what I'm looking for but I can't seem to remember.." she said panicked as she flipped through the pages. "Ah yes I remember now! I need lavender and poppy seed.." she named out the stuff she need so she could remember but when she looked up Kayda was gone. "Um...you lost your dragon" she pointed out to Sage. Nymeria slowly approached Amber she's gone to get the herbs like she always does! You helped train her..remember?

Sage, male, dragon freer Sage held up a hand cautioning Nymeria. "She lost her memory, Ny. She doesn't remember any of us or anything." To Amber he shook his head. "She's getting the herbs. And while she does that, I am going to go sit down and stitch myself up because I can't seem to manage to not get myself hurt." He staggered over to a tree trunk and sat down before begining to stitch himself up. "And don't worry, I'm fine." Edited at January 2, 2022 08:52 AM by NightClan

Amber, female, dragon tamer She watched Sage stitch himself up and made a 'really face?!'. She walked over to him "can I?...if you're correct and that dragon is getting the herbs I need then at least let your wounds heal properly with good stitching" she looked around her and softly laughed for a second. "Don't worry I know what I'm doing, my mother taught me.." her voice trailed off. "My mother" she whispered "is she alive?"

Sage, male, dragon freer Sage looked at her and blinked slowly. "Uhm, I have no idea if your mom is alive. I don't know her." Then he remembered Amber had said something else and he searched his memory for it, trying hard to think through the fog that seemed to be in his head. What did she say? Oh well. He looked back down at the open wound on his torso and the needle and thread he held. Oh, wait...I remember now. I think. "If you think you can do a better job, go ahead. It needs to be quick though, so the stitches don't have to be perfect." He shrugged. "I waited pretty long to start stitching the wound up."

Draein Hravar | Male | Dragon Rustler ~ Draein was almost taken off guard when Vern let go. At first, he thought he was going to lose his balance again, but somehow, he managed to keep it. I guess my balance is improving then. Good. Now I might actually be able to walk all the way back to the campsite without making a fool of myself. He thought, glad that he was able to do something without help. Looking at Vern, he listened to her words and replied with a smile, "Thank you for your concern. I guess I should count myself lucky that you are so willing to help me. As for coming with me, it's not like I'm in a position to stop you." As he said this, he wondered what the trip back to his camp would be like. Well, it seems like she really is going to come with me. She seems very persistent about it, and it's not like I can summon up enough strength to run all the way there. Even if I could, she has proven herself to be faster than me. Why did I put myself in this situation? He wanted to slap himself in the face for his previous lack of caution that led to his ambush, but something caught his attention. His acquaintance's hand was still trembling a bit, and although it was barely noticeable, he could still tell. Is she alright? Maybe I should ask her. He was about to do this, but a sound in the distance snapped him to attention. This brought back his survival instincts he had come to learn, and he tensed, his expression becoming alert and somewhat grim. Maybe I should put off asking questions until we get back at the camp. He decided, knowing that it usually wasn't safe to stay in one spot for too long; especially when blood has been spilt. Turning back to Vern, he said quickly, "I think we should leave this place. The blood will attract danger, and I can't fight very well like this. If you are intent on coming with me, then I suggest we should leave now." The young dragon rustler turned his attention to his sword, but as he did so, he noticed that the canteen, which had been attached to his supply bag and was usually close by the hilt of his sword, was missing. Crap! I must have dropped it when I was ambushed! Why does this happen at such an inconvenient time? He scanned the area with a worried glance, and with a feeling of relief, caught sight of the supply bag lying by a tree a few feet away. He speedily walked over towards it, ignoring the dizziness that increased with his movement. Bending down shakily, he lifted up the previously forgotten bag and slung it over his shoulder, almost losing his balance in the process. You have yet again made a fool of yourself. He scolded himself inwardly as he stood back up again. The stillness of the forest quickly brought him back to the situation at hand, and he cursed silently at his small delay, reminding himself that they needed to leave. After a quick look around, he turned in the direction of his campsite. Stopping, he turned to face Vern and said, "I know the location of the campsite, so I can go on ahead. We'll have to travel quickly if we're going to be there by sunset." Edited at January 3, 2022 03:31 PM by Etheria

Amber, female, dragon tamer She chuckled a little as his response "my stitches are fast and perfect, you don't need to worry about that" while she was finishing up the stitching she saw one of his scars, it looked familiar "this scar" she touched it gently "I recognise it" Kayda came barrelling back to the opening with the herbs and approached Amber cautiously with the herbs she gathered to not startle her. "Thank you" Amber said while taking the herbs from the dragon. Amber began putting the herbs on Sage's wounds "Something about that dragon seems comforting and familiar, a lot more than the other two" Amber said as she was looking at Nymeria. "It's like I've know her before but I just can't remember where.."

Sage, male, dragon freer He grunted and nodded. "That's because Kayda is your dragon. So is Nymeria." Then he glanced down at the scar Amber had touched. "You probably did something to that when it was an actual wound or something." He shrugged. "I forget how I got it though. I get hurt too much to remember where I got what scar." He glanced up at the dragons again and called over to Fire Storm. "Why don't you get a better fire going? But use a maple tree's wood - it won't give off much smoke, so our position won't be seen by anyone unless they're a highly skilled tracker. Stay close to camp while gathering the wood, though. I don't have the energy to go rescue you again." Fire Storm nodded and ran off, and Sage leaned back against the tree. He closed his eyes, exhausted from the events of the last few days. He didn't want to sleep, even though he knew he probably should, because he wanted to keep an eye out for anyone coming. He could rest his eyes for a few moments though - his ears were enough for now.

Amber, female, dragon tamer Amber sat there stumped as to why she couldnt remember that she had dragons and how she was where she was. She sparked to keep her eyes open but eventually fell asleep, curled up in a ball. Ny and Kayda didnt know whether or not to lie down beside her in case they frightened her so they kept their distance. The next morning Amber woke up fairly early and went hunting, she brought back enough food for them all. She patted Nymeria and Kayda "morning girlies! Sage mustve found you then Ny, its great to have you back" she gave Nymeria a hug while Kayda tried to wake Sage. Sage! Sage! She remembers us! Kayda said excitedly.
