| Rya Forest | 25 F | Showjumper | Location: Barn/Jumping Arena | Tags: Open | - Strolling down the aisle Rya was excited to take on the day with improving more. Steel snoozed lazily in his stall, his lower lip dropping down just an inch. Rya smiled and fumbled with the latch till it came loose then pulled it open to retrieve her stallion. Steel snapped his head up his ears perked in Ryan's direction, she slipped a hunter green halter over his white and black mixed face and walked him out and to the cross ties. Steel stayed still as she set to work grooming him and picked his hoofs, after finishing she jogged to the tack room and took out her hunter green saddle set, and her dark brown light jumping saddle. After laying the set on she placed her helmet comfortably on her blonde head, Rya grabbed she reins and walked toward the jumping arena. Her butt barely made a sound as she touched the leather, she walked him around and doing some stretches to help loosen him out after a stiff night in the stall. |

Jen Ι19ΙFΙ Lady ΙM: Lady Jen walked to Lady "good morning girl how's it going?" she would ask her mare. Lady tossed her head and walked up to her. Jen would clip the lead to her head and open the stall "come on girl" she clicked to her horse and walked to the bathing area. she would hook lady to the cross ties and turn on the hose seeing as her mare was covered in mud. She then washed her main and tail lastly she would separate her mane and braid it. "you look so pretty!" she said to the buckskin mare. she would give the mare a treat and unclip her. ~ she sighed lost in thought as her phone went off. She looked at it and sighed seeing her Ex was calling for the third time. she rolled her eyes and declined it. She put a blanket on Lady and put her in her stall. ~
Jen went into her truck she would started it and would run home to get her dog Snow she called for the husky and put her collar and leash on "come on Snow lets go" she would speak to the dog she puts snow in her truck and drives back to the barn. |

Collecting the reins Natalie put her left foot into the stirrup and pulled herself up before resting her other foot in the right stirrup, Adjusting to get comfortable in the saddle Natalie gave a cluck and started Vanz down the arena at a slow pace. "Doing okay over there?" Natalie said as she looked over at her daughter and Kris who was practically pulling the reins out of the child's hands and speed walking, With another cluck and a slight nudge Natalie and Vanz trot around the arena to catch up to the other two. . Beside them Natalie pulled Vanz back to a walk "Shorten your rein and pull him back a bit" Natalie commented as her daughter barely had a hold on the rein, After some advice and teaching Lexi had some better control of the small stallion. "Can I trot?" The girl asked and her mother replied with a shake of her head, "Not today I think it's best to work at a walk for now" She smiled and clucked Vanz to a trot. . With the last of the shavings spread out in Walters stall Anne grabbed the empty bag and exited the stall sliding the door back into place behind her, Putting the empty bag in the trash Anne made her way to the break room where she poured herself a nice hot cup of coffee to relax as she sat down at the small table leaning back a bit on the wooden chair. . Thomas Ortwin Lenz | 28 | M | Reika | M: Reika, Open . Dropping the reins he let them dangle as Reika knew her way to the barn, "geh nach Hause" ("Go home") Thomas spoke to the mare as he gave her a pat on the neck. Relaxing in the saddle a bit he watched as the mare navigated her way to the barn. "gutes Mädchen" ("Good girl") Thomas smiled as the thoroughbred halted in front of the barn doors, With a pat on the neck Thomas dismounted taking the reins into hand before leading her in towards the cross ties wanting to get her washed down dried off and in her stall. |

Jen Ι19ΙFΙ Lady ΙM: Lady Jen let snow out of the truck she sighed seeing snow was limping again "come on old pal one last day at the barn might as well make it happy for you old girl." she said sadly and softly she went into the lounge seeing another girl in there she gave her a clipped nod and turned towards her old friend "I'm going to miss you old girl" she whispered. ~ sighing she stood and gave snow a pat on the head she looked at her once black fur that was now grey from old age she pulled out a camera and took a picture of her "cant belive this is our last good bye" |

Kingsley Bishop | 26 M Eventer | Roxy ∴ Mischief Location: Barn | Tags: Open Ruffling through his grooming box, Kingsley skimmed through the tools looking for the medium Haas brush. Mischief reached is nose around nudging the young male's shoulder attempting to help in his own way. "Knock it off you foolish pony." He chided back at the big bay. Quickly finishing brushing the hanoverian's shiny coat, Kingsley swapped the brush for a hoof pick and set about cleaning Mischief's hooves. In a few minutes the horse was properly dusted off and ready to get tacked up. It was important to Kingsley to make sure his horse was cleaned, as it made sure nothing would irritate the skin or cause problems down the road. In the tack room, Kingsley grabbed his jump saddle, Micklem bridle, dark blue jump pad, lined girth, and brushing boots. Mischief was relatively good about being tacked up - with the exception of trying to help take the saddle pad off, and helping to put the bridle on, and helping to take off his boots. Kingsley was used to the gelding's cheeky ways, and just kept shushing the naughty creature away. With a final snap of his helmet, the male equestrian led his horse out of the barn to the staging area. At the mounting block, he tightened the girth and let out his stirrups before swinging up in to the saddle. Kingsley's plan was to head out on the hacking trail around the property to work on some trot sets to work on his and Mischief's stamina. It was part of the schedule he kept taped to his tack trunk and on his phone. With the first competition of his season coming up soon, he had to make sure that his horses could handle the horse trial. (anyone want to keep Kinglsey and Mischief company?) ⫗⫗⫗ Juliet Adams | 24 F Hunters | Nautica ᣀ Pragmatic Location: Barn | Tags: Natalie&Lexi / Rya Juliet climbed up the step to the arena podium excited to see what the riders were up to. Half the fun of being at the barn was gossiping with the other people and helping to set up poles. She took a sip of her iced coffee then set it on the small wooden table between a set of plastic lawn chairs. The brunette leaned against the railing watching as Rya mounted up on her splashy horse. As a hunter type, she was always impressed by the show jumpers and how they tackled seemingly impossible obstacles (ones that were totally over her head). She also saw where the voices she'd heard from the barn were coming from as she noticed Natalie and Lexi riding around the ring. It was so cute to see mother and daughter on their horse and pony riding together. She wished she had that sort of relationship. "Hey ladies! Nice riding out there!" Juliet called from the stand, her joy radiating out with her smile. |

Rya Forest | 25 F | Showjumper | Location: Jumping Arena/Trails | Tags: Open | (I don't mind keeping them company) - - Rya curiously turned her head toward the on comer, she noticed the Juliet seemed interested in the ShowJumping pair. She turned back to her stallion and picked up a canter, it was flat and trail day but Steel always seemed to need a jump before just to connect horse and rider. She waved toward Juliet in a hello since she wasn't a very loud person, her voice wouldn't reach her. - After fixing her lead she thundered toward a red and blue hogs back, Steel perked his ears and after 6 long strides he collected his hocks under his white muzzle, stretching his big bulky body over. Soon enough they landed and exited the arena. - - Rya noticed a man and a big bay headed out on the trails, she nudged Steel into a trot and bounded toward them. Falling beside them she turned to him, "Why hello there" Rya said towards the rider atop. |

Jen Ι19ΙFΙ Lady ΙM: Lady (same here Jen tied snow and tacked Lady she saw two people head toward the trails "hello!" she called trotting Lady Lady would toss her head acting up "Lady please stop" she said getting flash backs of what happned~ flashback "come on girl!" she called as she was chasing the cow "yes watch it!" her mother called as the cow went in front of Lady and Jen. Jen tried pulling Lady to a stop but Lady reared "JEN JEN!" she heard her mother cry the next thing she knew was she had stitches in her eye and lady had to also get stitches~ end of the flashback Jen covered her scar with her hair as much as possible she calmed lady and calmed herself. |

Focused on Vanz lately she'd felt the mares gaits had been different more choppier and less free-moving, Pulled out of her thoughts by a voice she looked over and spotted a woman smiling at them. Natalie smiled back with a small wave before slowing down the mare deciding to take it easy and most likely call out the vet tomorrow, Looking back hearing a loud higher pitched voice she smiled as her daughter called back to the lady "Thanks!" with a giddy smile on her face. . Anastasia Roux Greyson | 26 | F | RD & WM | M: Jen, Open . Anne have a slight smile back to the young lady and got up from the wooden chair, Pushing it back in towards the small table she washed her cup before heading out to go prepare the boys feed. Entering the feed room she grabbed the two feed buckets sitting in the same spot she'd left them yesterday, grabbing the handles she went over to the feed bins and put them down before starting to scoop some of the different feeds and supplements into the feed buckets. Finished she hauled the two now heavier buckets over to the tap where she watered the feeds down a bit, "My work is never done" Anne chuckled as she picked the two buckets up again and began the walk back to the stalls. . Thomas Ortwin Lenz | 28 | M | Reika | M: Reika, Open . Swapping out the bridle for a halter Thomas began stripping the mare of her tack, Tack put away and bit rinsed off Thomas began washing down the mare before scraping any liquid from the mares chocolate palomino coat. Scraping out the soil and other kinds of earth from her hooves Thomas had finished cleaning the mare up, "Might as well get this done" He spoke to himself as he started brushing out Reika's tail.  |

Kingsley Bishop | 26 M Eventer | Roxy ∴ Mischief Location: Perimeter Track | Tags: Rya & Jen Focused on rising in time to the large gelding's pace, Kingsley didn't even notice the approaching rider until the horse was practically upon them. The twenty six year old glanced around and was able to pinpoint the advancing rider. "Uh, hi." He was a bit caught off guard by the sudden appearance. A quick calf squeeze reminded the splashy bay to keep concentrating on his own work and not worrying about the other horse. "Do you need something?" Kingsley asked brusquely, his gaze questioning and a bit confused by the intrusion. He really had to focus on maintaining a good rhythm and pace with Mischief and himself to get into top shape for the upcoming horse trial. He didn't have a ton of time to chitchat or take riders on scenic rides around the property. He had his game face on and this was unfortunately the worst time to engage with him - on the ground and away from competition prep he was a genuinely decent human, but he really couldn't let anything distract his future plans. His life felt like it was on the line if he was successful this show season. The quick approaching hoofbeats of yet another rider made Kingsley's eyes narrow. He hoped these girls wouldn't make trouble for him or Mischief - if they could keep up, they could tag along. ⫗⫗⫗ Juliet Adams | 24 F Hunters | Nautica ᣀ Pragmatic Location: Barn | Tags: Natalie&Lexi / Rya She was a bit taken aback by the abruptness of the other woman - instead of engaging in a polite conversation, Juliet watched as Rya thundered toward a large oxer and sailed over the jump then abruptly left the arena. With a shrug, the young woman tried not to take it personally. Maybe she just had something better to do. Her eyes drifted toward a waving motion as she saw Natalie acknowledge her presence with a greeting hand gesture. Her furrowed brow released at the higher pitch and excited call from the always lovely Lexi. "You're looking awesome Lexi! Is that Kris you're riding?" Juliet called over to the young lady. She loved the enthusiasm Lexi had for horses and it always made her smile to see her around the barn helping (or getting under foot) with her mother. |
