While on their way through another state, the siblings found themselves passing through a nowhere small town. He agreed and the two spent a few hours wandering the stalls and outside pens before Freya spotted the mud-covered and underweight mule. According to a volunteer, the mule had come in from a nearby backyard breeder. Although some wouldn't consider her, Freya wanted to take the chance.
