*Beep! Beep! Beep!* Lexi slammed her hand onto the snooze button of her alarm clock and awoke. She climbled out of bed and got dressed. She was wearing an T-shirt with a little smiley face on it paired with some breeches. She rushed into her bathroom grabbed the hairbrush and an hairtie then rushed down stairs. She put her hair up into a ponytail and grabbed her coffee. She put on her boots and stormed out of the door. She went to visit her Mother and Father in the cabin next door. She knocked on the wooden green door. Her Mother Answered , "Lexi, Your here darling!" . Lexi replied with a nod and came inside. Her Father greeted her with a "Hello" and lexi grabbed a piece of toast. After an early morning breakfast Lexi rushed out the door and to the barn. Still drinking her coffee she got Reggy's halter and lead. She set her coffee down in the tack room and headed to Reggy's stall. Reggy perked his ears and gave Lexi a whinny. Lexi Grabbed Reggy and Put his Halter on. Lexi lead Reggy out and tied him to the post then went to grab the grooming box.

"Ghost??" Jessie was calling. Jessie knew from the moment is started raining last night Ghost would try get out his stable they were given.

And he did. Jessie wasnt sure how, but he did. The cold was getting to Jessie but as she pulled the jumper she was holding over her head and started to chow down on the peice of toast she had been carrying around she noticed how Ghost had undone his stable door. He lifted the lever by wrapping his halter around it. The idiot. She raced outside and as the frosty morning hair filled her lungs she saw Ghost standing next to the paddock gates unfazed by Jessies concern.

"Ghost!" She called and as his ears perked he snorted at her. She appraoched and as she grabbed the side of his rug he turned his head around and looked at her with big puppy eyes. Jessies shook her head.
"Oh no, no, no mister. I dont think so. Today, we got work to do." She laughed, dragging him back to the stables by his mane.

He was young but getting there but he was easily trained and tempered, thankfully.

Lexi Grabbed the grooming box and headed to Reggy, The mud caked on her boots made tracks in the aisle of the barn. Reggy gave lexi a snort and continued to stand still. Lexi grabbed a brush and started to brush down Reggy and his dirt spots. "You're a dirty lil guy, Arent you?" She chuckled and continued to groom him. Reggy nodded his head. Lexi wiped down his face and put away the grooming box and grabbed Reggy's tack. As she tacked up Reggy she saw another person and chose to ingore it. She put his saddle and saddlepad on him then continued to tack up by putting his bridle on. She led him to the indoor arena and hopped on. She patted his neck then signeled him to a walk.

Jessie finally escorted Ghost to his tack and grooming post. His rug was dragged off and was placed to the side after he was tied to his post. He was quiet smooth and clean underneath. She noticed another girl and a few other people around but at this point in time she was very early and in a trance. Without speaking she walked back and found her grooming box. Jessie lifted and carried the box back, her hand sliding over Ghost as she walked past his flank. His skin shuttered but otherwise he stayed calm. Which for a younger horse like him was massive improvment. He watched Jessie as she pulled out different tools and materials and began to work on him. His eyes difted away and to the other horse close by. His ears flickered foward in interest. But Ghost got ditracted as Jessie started to talk to him again, telling him he was a good boy and handing him a treat. He took it without complaining. As the others left he became bored and waited patiently.

Jessie put her tack box aside and patted Ghost before walking to the saddle pad and saddle storeroom, bridles places in the back as well. She searched though her belongings and found what she needed and walked back.

She signeled Reggy to a trot, He picked his feet up and turned the corner. Lexi stayed focused and looked at the jumps they were going to go over. She signeled him to a canter and focused on the jumps, they came up to a jump 1...2...3...4...5...6..Jump! She felt her horse lift his feet up off the ground and push himself over the jump, He landed and they went off to another jump, 1...2...3...4...Jump! She slowed him to a walk and walked over to the problem jump, a 3 meter water jump. She sighed and talked to Reggy "Can you do this for me? Please, You'll get a treat. Come on buddy" Reggy snorted. Lexi clicked her tounge and signeled him to a canter, she cantered around the arena and to the jump. 1...2...3...4...5 *Crash*. As Reggy rufused the jump Lexi flew over the jump and let go of Reggy's reins. She landed and moaned. She looked at Reggy and looked at a pretty big cut on her arm. She sighed and got up, brushed herself off and grabbed Reggy. She got on reggy and walked him around the arena for a bit. "The third time this happened, Boy when are you gonna let go of your fear of that jump?" Reggy whinned. Lexi hopped off Reggy and lead him to the barn.

Jessie finally managed to tack up Ghost Rider. As she flipped the reins over his head and lead him past the indoor arena and the outdoor jumping set he flickered his ears. Jessie wasnt paying attention though. They finally made it to the cross country course. She flipped the reins back over and grabbed the saddle. Putting her foot in the styrup was easy but Ghost started to walk as she did. She hoisted herself into the saddle and Ghost was already moving. He was familair with the course and could clear it. Confident was good, but he was used to doing it in the dry grass, not the wet. Jessie patted his neck and shoulder.

"We gonna be ok?" She asked then laughed.

"Yeah, we will be ok." She tried to tell herself. She urged Ghost on into a faster walk and headed out towards some of the first jumps. He was alert but as they got to the start Jessie started to feel nervous. It wasnt uncommon but she was not sure how she felt. She had to do it though, but she first sat in the saddle still, Ghost standing, waiting for command.

She tied Reggy up in the cross ties and un-tacked him. Her cut on her arm stung, She tried to ingore it. She walked to the tackroom to put Reggy's tack away, as she was in there she remembered her coffee. She grabbed the cold coffee and threw it in the trash. She put away Reggy's tack and grabbed his neon green halter. She walked out and went to Reggy. She put his halter on and grabbed his lead. She untied him and he rested his head on her shoulder. She looked at him and said "You know I cant stay mad at you!" she chuckled. She put Reggy in his stall and locked it. Then she started to walk back to her cabin. She opened the door and went to the medicine cabinet, she grabbed the bandages and some cream. She put the cream on her cut and bandaged it. She walked back to the barn and started reading in Reggy's stall. Reggy decided to cuddle with her.
