Welcome to the Twisty Pine Farms RP thread! If you’d like to join please PM me- there are a limited number of spots available though, although I may consider making it an open RP. Twisty Pine Farms, better know as TPF, has been in the community for 60-odd years, starting out as a small stable of just 4 boarders and growing to house about 30 horses. It has one 20 horse barn and several large pastures, as well as many different paddocks. It has both an indoor and outdoor arena, as well as an outdoor round pen. While it’s not the fanciest stable, it’s down to earth nature makes it a cozy place to board your horse. The owner is Miss Mary Rose, who founded the stable in 1964 with her husband James Anthrop. She is quite elderly and is unable any of the work around the barn anymore, but spends more time there than anyone making sure everything is squared away. She’s basically your generic sweet old lady. Riley laughed as Lucky tumbled down the hill, "You silly dog!" She cried. The puppy got up, shook himself, and tagged at her heels as she made her way into the barn and snatched Dusty's halter. The sorrel gelding trotted up to her when she called him, and she smiled, rubbing his cheek as she put on his halter. She brought him into the barn and began brushing him, shaking her head as clouds of dust filled the air. "And that's why you're called Dusty, isn't it?" She asked the horse, and he tossed his head, ready to ride.

She turned the radio up and tapped her finger on the steering wheel. She turned down the road of the stables and pulled in, in her black truck pulling a horse trailer. Bailey turned the radio down and parked. She unlocked the car and got out making her way to the horse trailer. She un-did the lock on the horse trailer and grabbed Amigo. Amigo walked backwards down and out of the horse trailer while he whinnied. "Your talkative today boy" Bailey said with a chuckle and gave Amigo a pat as she tied him to the side of the trailer then closed the trailer door. She looked in the back at buddy and let him out. "Come on boy, you too" She said as buddy jumped out and stayed close to baileys side. "Huh That must be the stables." Bailey said as she pointed to a large stable. She got Amigo's lead and lead him over to the stables. She kicked up dust with her cowboy boots as she walked over. She looked to her side to make sure Buddy was still there. She walked into the barn and saw another person. "Hi!" she said as she looked at the other person and kept Amigo and Buddy by her side. Edited at June 11, 2022 08:45 AM by Moon Estates

She was about to set her saddle on Dusty's back when she heard a voice call out. She set the saddle down again and gave her gelding a pat. That must be the new boarder, She thought to herself as she turned to face the voice. "Hi," smiled Riley, as she left Dusty tied up and walked over to the young woman, "You must be... Bailey, is that right?" she asked. "I'm Riley. I wasn't expecting you so soon, sorry I wasn't out to meet you. Is your horse here now?"

"Yup i'm Bailey and yes my horse is here. Hope you dont mind dogs, I got buddy with me today." She said as she gave Buddy a pat on the head and ruffled his fur. Buddy did a soft bark and looked at the horse, Dusty. Bailey got buddys leash out and clipped it on his collar. She smiled and swept her hair out of her face.

"Dogs are just fine, don't worry. As long as he's reasonably calm around the horses he's just fine. Mine's right here too," Riley said as Lucky padded over to them, intrigued by the other dog. "So what type of board are you looking for for your horse? Did you want to put him in the pasture, in a paddock, or in a stall? He could also be in multiple areas over the course of the day; for instance pastured in the daytime and stalled at night." She said as she started walking towards the trailer outside.
