I just bred this beautiful little filly: https://horseeden.com/horse.php?id=26776899and it got me thinking about a breeding project involving Golden Dunskins. However, I can't figure out what causes the "Golden". It's not "Gold" from the Chamapagne gene. From what I can tell, it's associated with the cream gene, since I can find golden buckskins but not golden duns. So is it just a random expression of cream that you can re-roll for? Or can you reliably breed it? Thanks! Edited at July 19, 2021 02:32 PM by All The Lies

It's just a variation of buckskin/dunskin, so you cant breed for it. You can reroll for it though.

Unfortunately it's just a random expression of buckskin, the way mahogany or blood bay are random expressions of bay.
