Is it possible to get a prlprl from a Prlprl x prlprl combo? Or am I just going to get Prlprl?. Can you get SplSpl? Or is it a lethal white foal? I've heard you have to be careful breeding Spl and Spl together. Or was I misinformed. And that just applies to frame?

SplSpl is not lethal white it's just a very loud splash pattern. Lethal white typically occurs with frame. Edited at June 5, 2022 12:53 AM by Sweetwater Creek

I am pretty certain Prlprl x prlprl will have 50% chance of being prlprl, the other 50% chance being Prlprl. Frame x frame is 25% chance of lethal white foal, and I think it works the same if you breed 2 white colored horses together, as well.... in terms of lethal white. Splash whites are totally fine! Hope this helps!

Punnett Squares are an easy way to figure out the odds of a certain gene combo passing. Example: Parent 1Parent 2 | Prl | prl | prl | Prl prl | prl prl | prl | Prl prl | prl prl | If you're good at fractions then you'll be pretty good at punnett squares. ------------- And with Nordic's lovely white lethality guide, I just want to add that a White or Ww horse can be hiding Frame! I have gotten a few lethal foals from Ww x Oo pairs because the white parent had a hidden frame gene. The Ww x Oo is not lethal on it's own, only when the white is covering an Oo gene and then it becomes Oo x Oo... The punnett square for that would look like this: Parent 1 Parent 2 | O | o | O | OO - lethal | Oo | o | Oo | oo | 25% (1/4) chance of lethal white, 50% (2/4) chance of a frame, 25% (1/4) chance no frame.
