They probably suck though. I have mostly quest mares in the PPP-EEP range and some show gelds. You are probably right it's got something to do with the amount of breeders

Also relative to how large (100 people) the leaderboards are, I don't think there's a gigantic pool of people to be on them. I think there's most people I've even seen online is like 350. So it kinda makes sense

You do have quite a lot of AAs alive that you've bred, I suppose those stats add up

I'm on the KNN and AA leaderboards somehow. No clue how that's supposed to make sense

Yeah I think that's how it works Min. Makes sense, at least in my case

Yeah I think its the colour/gelds/random keepers that drag LB placings down as it's done on the average. If you only breed a few high quality foals a year you'd probably do better than someone breeding 10 WWWs but also 600 PPPs they keep back

Yeah that's what I mean by promptly. A month vs a year is quite significant 😅

Fodder foals get deleted during the following RO. So they stick around for a montg

But fodder foals get released/deleted quite promptly don't they? Whereas geldings stick around for like.. a year

I don't know. I also produce fodder foals here.

I produce tons of AAs for geldings, but maybe that's bad for my LB placement? xD

Yes, we sit there, but it's the "just" that gets me.
How about your cousin sits on the horse? They'll probably find themselves on the ground. Yes, we sit there. And we're freakin' proud of it, because it takes skill. And that's only step one of riding.

Not too long ago my cousin gave me the classic, "But you just sit there."

This is 100% right. Like guys go ride my horse then and we will see if you can do it. Its not quite that easy. If only it was lol!

I dont know if this counts but this is a conversation I had with someone in my year 12 math class. Context, she had photos of her and a horse as her device backgrounds.
Me: that is a beautiful horse. Do you ride?
Her: Yea. She is mine and about 16.5hh
Me: That is interesting... horses can't be 16.5hh
Her: oh... well she is really big.
Bad thing is, yes, it was her horse. She had a warmblood that she used for Eventing that she brought with her from South Africa. I think she was just uneducated on horse height?

A lot of things along the lines of "the rider doesn't even do anything, they just sit there while the horse does all the work" while little do they know, that's the sign of a strong, dedicated, athletic rider -- making it all look easy.

"Is that a baby one?" - my mother, every time I ride a pony. She also insists that the gelding I usually ride, who is probably around 15.1hh or so, is giant and must have some draft blood. (Sunny is a cute lil warmblood, very doubtful he has any chonk.)

Oh ho ho I work and board at a public barn where we do birthday parties, weddings, etc so let's just say I have my fair share of these stories

Everything along the lines of why we put blindfolds on horses (fly masks)

"Aww it's a baby horse!" While referring to a pony

"Can you ride the baby horses?" Referring, again, to the ponies (and once to an actual foal)

"Do you race them?"

"Do you jump them?"

"Is that horse dead/sick?" When they're laying down

"Are those horses available?" The guy that asked that was referring to my boys who were turned out the night before a wedding

"I'll trade you my car for that horse" referring to my horse.. the car was ugly so I said no.. he then offered me 5k... still no

"If we want to buy a horse can you help us pick it out and train it so we can bring it here and you can do all of the work with it so we can come out and just ride it?" Basically word for word from a couple who pulled up to the ranch in a Ferrari

"I've been scared of horses my entire life, but in the past couple months I've been thinking of getting one" Ferrari people again

"Do you have any beginner/kid/husband safe horses for under $300?"

"Can I rent one of your horses and take it on trail to smoke and enjoy nature?"

these are all real things that have been said to me within the past year alone, and yes, I do have more of these, this isn't even half of the conversations I have on a regular basis
