Sorry about my horrible job scratching out the kid’s face we *think* she has a bit of Connemara, but we know she’s mostly Welsh (probably B), also she’s a 19 year-old hunter pony mare. Also the kid didn’t even try to stand her up, she just automatically does it. My trainer says she has the best confirmation she’s like ever seen, but I’d like to hear you guys’ opinions.

Memory, this one will be a bit harder to tell as the angle of the picture doesn't portray the horse well. It's more 3/4 than a profile view. I'll do my best anyway! ^^ She appears to me to have a litte bit of sway back. Her shoulder and pastern angles are a bit steeper than I'd like. I'm not exactly sure what hunter's do, but depending on the discipline, shorter strides are better welcomed. Her back end it nice and seems well balanced and countoured. She is longbacked and short in the front and neck, so her front end may be a bit heavier and clumsy. She also looks over at the knee in the front but otherwise good. They way she stands in the back is the exact same way my boy stands which leads me to believe she might be camped out in the back. Overall, she looks like she is thinner boned but it could just be they way her legs are positioned. She looks overall well muscled. All in all, she's a good little pony. I bet she does really well in the arena! ^^

Here are some conformation shots (and most recent ones I have) of this guy as a three year old at the end of last year. He is looking a lot better than when I first saw him, he has gained a lot of muscle, and gained even more as a four year old. He is believed to be a pure bred Thoroughbred, bred not only for color, but showing. Never raced, he has done some lower level eventing up to Novice, with hopes of training at the end of next year. He is a homozygous black frame overo. A very minimally marked frame overo. His name is Gone Black, but we just call him Patch. Edited at January 4, 2021 03:38 PM by Ocean River Stables

If it helps he stands at about 16.1 hands, and still has some filling out to do, since he is only four and turns five in april

Hunters are the best and pretty Show Jumpers. The goal is a pretty stride and good form over jumps.

Such a beautiful guy, thought he was WB not TB, lol. Looks a bit uphill but that can help with collection and movement, nice shoulder and hip angles, (they match too!) Does have a bit of a thin neck, but that comes with the TBs. (It's NOT ewed though!) Overall looks like a great guy!

Meet Checkers! Checkers is my 20 yr old Arab Gelding, he is 14.1. I use him mainly for play, (bare back, bridless, tricks.) He's just my buddy. We did dressage for a while and still do in the summer, he doesn't jump so we skip on that, lol. Minus the sway back (from age) I think he's built pretty well, I'd love your guys opinion.

Ocean, that is one cutey pie! ^^ A couple things I notice right off is he is definitely uphill (although if he is still growing, his back end might be able to catch up) and he stands under himself (not camped under at the joint although he may well be, but his hip is kind of rolled under itself. It's hard for me to explain XD). He has some overly long pasterns which is mildly concerning (puts a great deal of stress on the fetlock). His shoulder is good, his hip is good. He has one heck of a neck on him, but that is to be expected of a Thouroughbred. ^^ And plus, it's neither swanned or ewed. I do also see he's camped in at the front. He has a mid-sized back. It's about the same length as his underline, meaning he's got a stronger back than those that are longer. He appears generally well balanced and thin-ish boned. He's a good looking boy nonetheless! ^^
