Just curious as to what the hay prices are in other Aussie areas
A round bale where we live in SA costs from $150-$170
(My mini doesn't eat hay... it gives him colic due to part of his small intestine being smaller than the rest so we only feed chaff) Edited at January 3, 2019 04:58 AM by Kuewi KNN Stable

I edited a typo .... I assume you wanted to know the hay prices ;)
In Europe, hay prices for an about 300kg round bale were about 50 Euros until this year. Now you would have to pay 100 - 200 Euros!

in MS you can get a round bale for like $30 mostly because they're all grass hay but if you want alfalfa you have to get it imported from utah because in MS bugs will live in the alfalfa hay and kill your horse if it eats them
