It's a hard life for Timmy, getting a million treats from little kids and then having to walk them 1 lap around the arena 😴

Opps I haven't posted on this in months LMAO. Long story short, Timmy is a totally princess/drama queen, and yes before anyone asks, this has nothing to do with anything medically. We've talked to vets and he's completely healthy, a vets own words "He's just a baby" lmfao. The only time the king himself is enjoying the weather is enjoying the weather is fall and spring 😇. In the summer he needs his full fly gear, fly spray, and swat on in order to keep him happy, and in winter he insists on being bundled up before he even THINKS about going outside. This horse just simply hates bugs and snow, which my state has lots of lol. To put this into perspective, Timmy literally used to have a stall with attached turnout he could go out to as he pleased, and he preferred to stay in his heated/air conditioned stall and eat his hay mountain🤴, we actually ended up having to lock him out of his stall during the day to get him to go outside and be a horse with his friends. The winters here are super harsh, and I refuse to work any of my horses when it's under 25°, as it's just simply not healthy for their lungs, etc. We are super super lucky to be able to have a heated barn/arena so we still can work the horses in this weather if needed, but if it's not necessary I usually just let them have the day off and try again when it's warmer out. Timmy being the princess he is is no exception, so he's getting super lightly worked lately just because he's usually pretty grumpy when it's cold (which, same here timmy).

Since Timmy is just being super lightly worked until it gets warmer out, i've gotten the opportunity to try some of my barns new horses, and since it's a training barn, there's been some pretty cool ones come through! I got the chance to ride this super cool 4year old by GSR and when I say wow, I really mean it lol! This horse gives me huge hope for the AQHA/APHA HUS industry, because the movement on these HUS babies lately is improving sooo much, I can't wait to see all the talent these guys bring. Excuse the outfit, this was a completely unplanned ride and I had just gotten off a 5 hour flight and just threw some work boots on to try this guy, but look at this long trot 🤌 chefs kiss🤌
