You guys!! Hi!! Last night, I rode Eli with a saddle for the first time. I had someone have a lead rope on, just in case, but he was a good boy! He was giving me a very sideways, confused look, but he went with it. He is very soft in the mouth, which is wonderful. I work/ride him in a smooth, plain Myler snaffle, and he's wonderfully responsive! I don't think that he's ever been ridden with a saddle, but he was good nonetheless. I'll have someone take pictures next time.
So I need your guys' opinions! I need suggestions as to what color beading I should have done on Eli's show halter for next year. I don't want light blue - but any other color is fine. What are your suggestions? Thanks for following our fun adventure!

Red or white/silver. Either would be absolutely stunning with his coat.

For my Dark bay I use Navy and Silver or Red,white and blue xx

I like the ideas of red or silver, though I think a deep violet would work too.

It's a shame Arabians aren't tattooed the way racing TBs are -- you'd be easily able to track his breeding and partial ownership that way.

Maroon or scarlet. That way you could go with a little bling!

Also, since he's a dark bay, lime green would give a pop of color!
