I've ridden in Collegiates many times and absolutely hate them... maybe it depends on the model. They also never fit my tall slim athletic-y type horses

If you end up getting one I recommend getting an inner changeable gullet, that way if you get a new horse or what not you don't have to use a different saddle! I got mine 400$ used in great condition! I'll go see if I can find a picture... Also yes, AVOID wintec!!!! It ruins horses backs from my experience, also they wear down quickly. - Found an image from my saddle, ignore the dreassage pad lol
Ahh, I feel the Collegiate reviews are so mixed! A horsey group I'm in on Facebook had a Wintec vs Collegiate post and all of the comments were strongly against the newer Collegiates and all for Wintecs. So conflicting! But Collegiates definitely look nicer 😍 As sombody with hardly any butt , i find them so very comfortable, and the knee rolls are pricless! Its an overall amazing saddle <3
I think I might have to reconsider Collegiates! I tried looking for some second hand Bates but there are absolutely none around me at the moment... what model Collegiate do you have if you don't mind me asking? :D Im not really sure... but i think it was either a 'Collegiate Graduate Close Contact Saddle' or 'Collegiate® Honour Close Contact Saddle'

I love my Tekna, I've had it for a few years, durable, comfortable, adjustable and synthetic! It's also not super expensive which is nice
