Well the way I would think about it is the difference from the 'normal' temperature. I live in England so this is going to be in Celsius. Let's say the avg temp for an autum day is 10C, and it's 0C, twice as cold tomorrow would be -10C? But if the normal temp was 5, it would be -5 to be twice as cold. I don't know if this actually works lol?
