I've been throwing this idea around for a while now but I'm thinking about creating an 'ultimate' guide to HEE that has links to a bunch of the most helpful, indepth, or informational guides on HEE for specific topics. Including a custom guide I would make for each topic with a table of contents containing an overview, important info, sections for each subtopic and then links to more indepth explanations on each part of the topic. I've spent (no lie) years compiling all of the best guides and information in the forums and trying to teach myself, I mean I have a nearly 70 page google doc with all the relevant info on making palettes that just contains info from HEE and not outside sources (although I do use them). So I think it might be a good way for newbies or players in need of a refresher, to have a streamlined guide on how to play the game and learn/teach themselves. It might seem a little redundant as we do have a guides section of the forum that they can just search through, but I've found that each guide lacks information that another has so there isn't one that truly contains it all and is understandable for a newer player. Heres an example on what a guide may look like! . . A Comprehensive Guide to Tracking Training: 1 - Intro: What is tracking training 2 - Explanation: Why do people track training 3 - How To Do It: How to track training 4 - More Info: Other Guides & Resources . . Intro: What is tracking training intro would go here, not writing it out to save space & time lol . Explanation: . How To Do It: . More Info: links to other guides such as indepth for tracking SD training, or training for show geldings, terminology, etc | Poll Question: Should I?Total Votes: 27

Update: I've begun to start a comprehensive guide of showing so that I can link it to the guide I plan on making about making money! I may finish the guide on tracking training first just as a kind of test run lol. I know this isn't *super* needed, but I still would like to make them for my own personal reference and so that I can direct newbies towards them and I think it would be a great way to keep the community alive and welcoming of new/younger members!
