I had to work, but I'm glad I did. I had no other plans for the day, other than to breed my horses, of course. Rather than sit home alone feeling sorry for myself because my friends were out of town and I lacked the courage to crash a stranger's barbecue, I went to work as scheduled. Time and a half, my friends! Oh, and I extended my shift by several hours, too! I was exhausted by the time I got home, well after midnight, but I was also happy and felt accomplished. That's going to be a fat paycheck! I did squeeze in a few breedings before my shift began, too! |
