They do use anesthesia as the animal has to be fully sedated however they don't necessarily do blood work or provide pain management afterwards. But the animal does have to be fully sedated for those surgeries as it's done by a licensed veterinarian

Low cost clinics don't use anesthesia.
Just use sedation which is more harder to control because you aren't hooked up to anything

I plan on doing rescues when I have my own place

Oh yeah. It gets expensive. And then if there is complications my local low cost clinic will act it was not their fault and will not fix it. Even if it just needs antibiotics! So I have to take those cats as well to my own vet. Which is absolutely why I am paying over 300 for my small dogs neuter with them.

The other three we had to locate the kittens first and bring them in for socialization and then catch the moms to have fixed and then released back out

We did the same thing when we were at our apartment complex. There was six females running around having babies left and right so we got three of them caught, spayed and then adopted because they were pretty friendly

But I have posted on the neighborhood Facebook that in order for me to continue- they are going to have to call the clinic and donate directly to the cats scheduled for that week.
I gave info on how fast they reproduce and what kinda damage they can do

Ah ok.

Sam, my husband and I have a soft spot for animals in rescue/need so we try and help as much as possible because one female cat having kittens can turn into a few hundred and a span of like 2 years

They charge 25 for spay/neuter and 10 for rabies. 100 for everything so I just opt for just the rabies, we bring back the tamed ones later for rest of shots

The one out by us only charges $15 for feral females and $10 for males with shots included

Wraith, did you look up any low-cost spay/neuter places? A lot of times they'll do feral cats for either free or extremely cheap and give them all their shots as well for free.

At least 2 last month were euths too. Those bills are separate- they were injured and infected and we tried.

I am trying my best to keep up. Last month I spent over 1k on rabies vaccines and spay/neuter. I am trying to get them into anywhere I can to get them fixed. But I cannot afford to do this every month, and nobody in my neighborhood cares enough to help. I do not want it getting outta control but I dunno

Hello! I have recently bred my first WW girl which I am over the moon about, and now have the need to train her. I understand that you train once a week after assigning a rider to your horses, but I don't understand recording the training. What do all the weeks and digits mean in the remarks? What shows should I enter and when with a horse I am training to match? Should I SD geldings and show them or AD, and if so how? I have honestly been very intimidated by this and have been putting off showing for some time.
In short, help ??

Have you tried referring to the Game Guide and looking at the "Your Horse" and "Showing" sections? They are very helpful (:

Recording the training is tracking down her bars every week from 4 and on to I'd say about week 15. If lucky, week 3. We use our remarks to help out other AD breeders on how well their training is.
.
SD geldings, I do every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday in just that discipline. AD geldings, I do dressage xc and show jumping every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.
.
I hope this helps at least a little bit.

First I'll address how to train your horse. Each week you'll have to feed, pay your riders, and go to the training center. The weeks just go with how many weeks you've trained your horse. The digits corespond to the 6 characteristics on a horses page (mv,int, hrt, scp, spd, str). AD horses will start getting their second bar of training for each characteristic weeks 3-5 and their third bars weeks 7-10 and one more bar around every 4 weeks. So if your horse goes up a bar in heart and speed week 4 I would write, 4:112121 in their remarks.

For showing each discipline has 3 characteristics. Dressage has the traits movement, intelligence, and strength. XC has heart, speed, and strength. Jumping has heart, speed, and strength.

Each level or showing goes along with one colored set of training bars. I wait until my horse has all the bars in the level along with one extra, for example. I would wait to show a level one horse until they had at least 2 bars of training for each characteristic that goes with the discipline. So for a horse to place well in a level 1 jumping show I would wait until they had 2 bars in heart, scope, and speed.

I train AD rated geldings in all disciplines and show them in all disciplines and show SD rated geldings in their discpline but I also show them in other disciplines when they could do well. This is more of a personal preference, some people train PEP combo geldings as SD.

I hope that helps, let me know if you have questions.
