(no worries, I was busy today too so I haven't been on lol) Sage chuckled softly in response to her mention and shrugged. "Well if you were at least I'd know no one would be able to do anything stupid around us," he teased lightly, before sighing and shrugging. "Anyas not in a great spot," he murmured. "She knows whatever happens won't be pretty, and she's had everything thrown at her. She's stressed," he hummed. "Everyone doubts the king and queen will make it much longer," he added. Then he shrugged. "I was messing around with att for a while too though," he noted. "He's already quite fond of the colt," he chirped happily.

The woman gave a small laugh to him before shrugging. "I think that you need to think about what you just said... I'm a witch, Sage, I can't control people," she mused lightly before pouting at him. At his next comment, though, she sort of frowned. "I can imagine. It's a lot of pressure and she won't really have anyone to talk to about it. She's about to lose her parents and take control of kingdom... it's not going to be easy on her," she murmured softly. "You should probably come up and check on her over the next few days." She didn't like the woman much, but she didn't want anything to happen to the future queen. Pressure lead to rash decisions and she already knew Anya was likely to make those decisions. She gave a bit of a smile when she heard about the colt and Atticus, though. "That's good! He's not struggling at all with this, is he?" She asked after a moment.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment and shrugged. "Well they'd be too scared of you to do anything," he chirped, pecking her cheek before nodding when the conversation changed to Anya. "I probably will...I told att if help him train up Luther anyway," he mused, thinking about how he'd come to and from for a while. Try and figure things out, help Anya with whatever she needed. "He'll miss them, but he's not as worried about it all as Anya is," he noted. "I'm not sure how much he realizes things could change or go wrong," he added after a moment, pursing his lips slightly as he thought. "hopefully, things won't wind up bad," he murmured. Though, with his luck, they probably would.

The woman sort of rolled her eyes back at him, a small laugh escaping her. "Babe you made that joke years ago about the guards... and I'm too nice to do anything to anyone," she mused lightly to him after a moment or two. She grinned at his peck before standing up and offering him her hands to get going. "That'll be nice for the two of you to spend some time together. He's always thought you were cool you know," she chuckled lightly. She hummed in agreement with the boy. "All he's going to know is that his grandparents are dead. He's still to young to understand the volume of it all," she murmured gently. She was worried, though. She had a feeling things might not go so smoothly over the next year or so. "Come on, let's get home," she sighed after a moment, calling the kids over.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, giving her a somewhat surprised look. "I did? When," he asked, though he was distracted soon enough by other things. "Yeah," he murmured. "Truth be told, they're not the closest to him either, since he's not their blood," he admitted with a sigh, nodding in agreement when Mari got up and suggested heading home. He took her hands happily to haul himself up off the couch with a grunt, moving to scoop up Liz, who'd run over with her arms open, and wait for Mari and Silas before wandering out to chaos, who was already hooked up to the rig and waiting for them by the gate.

The woman grinned over at him, giving a pout. "Just after we had Silas. You said, and I quote, 'all the guards will think you've put a spell on me and feeding experimental concoctions to Silas," she mused lightly. Well, he hadn't said those words exactly, but that was the idea of it. She hummed softly after a moment, though. "I do wonder if he feels like he has family up here. They care about him, of course, but Anya used to treat him as more of a burden than anything. Especially after Luther died. She's made it clear she's not his mother," she murmured quiely. "The queen loves him regardless, but I wonder if he thinks of them as family," she murmured in thought, though soon they were on their way home. She had Silas on her lap, though by now he was too big to be doing that really, and she was more more than glad to clamber into bed once they'd gotten home.

Sage had hummed in thought as she brought up what he'd said before, cocking his head in thought for a moment before shrugging. "Don't remember that," he mused after a moment, though he did believe he'd said it. He nodded as she mentioned att, moving to help the kids and then her into the carriage. "They're family....but he's also aware they're not his birth family," he noted with a sort of shrug. "Kind of like the doctor and I." The kids were worn out by then, so the ride back home was pretty quiet, and he shooed them off to bed quickly before showering quickly and then flopping onto the bed next to Mari with a groan.

The woman rolled her eyes at him, though a light smile crossed her face. "It was years ago now," she mused softly to him. She nodded in agreement. She didn't know the boy very well, nor Anya and her family. She knew the queen, though, and she had always liked the boy well enough. But they'd all made it clear to the child they weren't related. But she did worry the child didn't have the relationships with them they they probably should. She sighed softly before shaking her head. "You and the doctor are like family," she mused gently. Once she was ready for bed, she flopped down and sort of rolled over to curl up herself, a soft sigh escaping her.

Sage had hummed lightly in response to the girls comments, figuring she was probably right and recalling correctly what he'd said. He certainly wouldn't know any different. He could admit though, with att, half of the reason he had brought the horse now was so he'd be here more often, and could help both him and Anya if it arose. Which it probably would. Once he was in bed though, he was too tired to worry too much about any of it, and just nestled in next to Mari happily, letting himself just relax and slowly slip off into sleep.

The woman gave a small huff when he drifted off, though she couldn't help but be worried about everything. She had a feeling if things went wrong they'd be dragged into whatever happened, and that did scare her. Though, the thoughts quickly slipped from her mind and she settled down and drifted off to sleep. Though, she sort of woke up early the next morning. She didn't get out of bed for once, though. In truth she was just comfortable in bed.
