Sage hummed in agreement to the girls comment about the doctor, throwing her a mischievous grin. "I'm pretty sure he popped out of his mother old and grumpy," he noted with amusement. "I sort of feel bad for the woman," he added with a chuckle before wrinkling his nose at her comment about his previous words. "It sounded better in my head," he mused before tugging her in so he could peck her cheek. He glanced out the window with a sigh when she asked if he was staying in or not, and moved to get up with a grunt. "I suppose I should get the horses taken care of," he mused. "Might stop by the castle later if I have time but I'm not sure yet," he added.

The woman sort of rolled her eyes in amusement, nodding along with the jokes. "If he even came out of a woman. Chances are that he was grown in a lab or something," she teased gently. She leaned in so he could peck her cheek, a little smile spreading across her face. "It's fine, I like that cheesy shit anyway," she mused, and then gave a soft sigh. "I'll come with you or I'll drive myself crazy," she mused softly. She then nodded in agreement. "Ask Anya what she'd like for dinner whenever she's over," she chirped lightly.

Sage snorted in amusement in response to her comment about the doctor being grown in a lab. "It's quite possible," he mused, nodding when she said she'd tag along. "The kids will be alright when they wake," he asked with a cocked head. If they needed something and they were all the way down at the barn, would they know to check there? He wasn't sure. But if she was coming she thought it would be alright, and the kids were old enough to now they could figure out that if they weren't in the house then they were in the barns. Not that Mari went often. But it would probably be alright. He nodded when she mentioned asking Anya what she'd want to eat, humming out a "I'll make sure to ask," as he wandered out the door with her.

The woman raised a brow at him when he asked if the kids would be alright. "Hunny, they're you're kids, they'll be fine," she mused, then wrinkled her nose. "Actually, I'll stay here and do... something," she then decided, figuring he'd maybe just want to spend a bit of time alone. She stopped at the door, and gave a soft smile and a little wave, then wandered back into the house to do... something with her time. She wasn't quite sure what yet. She hummed gently before deciding to get the kids up so she could clean their rooms and get the washing done and the likes. She'd decided to go see her mother about the bakery at some point in the day, figuring it would be a good pass time for her.

Sage sort of chuckled in response to her comment, shaking his head. "All that tells me is that if the house catches fire they'll try to fist fight it rather than getting outside where it's safe," he noted with slight amusement. He nodded at her comment though, pecking her on the forehead and then wandering off to the barn. "I'll stop by the castle once I'm done at the barn, then be back for lunch," he called over to her. That way she could go do stuff outside of their home if she wanted.

The woman sort smiled when he called to her, and waved her hand to let him wander off. She could get some small chores, then take the kids over to their grandmothers for a little bit while she spoke to the woman. She didn't want to keep the older woman waiting too long, either. (this is very short, had a super stressful day.)

(no worries lol. Hope everythings alright though!) Sage moved down to the barn happily, letting amber chase the mice that occasionally showed up by the hay bales and such. He went about doing the chores, and finished after a couple of hours or so. He'd slid back in the house for lunch, then Mari and brought the kids down to her mother's, and he grabbed chaos and rode down to the castle, glad for the time to have a nice relaxing ride.

(All good, just a lot going on lol) Anya was settled in her room, finally just cracking down on a bit of work. It had been a while since she'd actually done anything to do with her own work. She sighed and moved to go and plop down on her balcony after a little while, deciding that actually, she needed a break. She hadn't found any sort of a hobby like Sage had suggested, but taking time just to herself after Woking was... good. It made her feel better. She hadn't heard anything of her parents... she supposed that if they did know anything about it, they wouldn't want her to know and spiral. It made sense.

(yeah, I get that. I've been busy with school, managed to get myself in 19 credit hours this semester lol....) Sage took the time to let chaos canter along at an even pace, just enjoying the ride. He had plenty of time, as Mari and the kids were elsewhere, and he had to admit he missed just riding to ride. So he sort of just relaxed on the way to the castle, taking some of the back routes and trails through the woods and such to get there before settling Chaos in his stall. He didn't see Att around, so he moved to go find Anya, making a mental note to find the boy later and work with his and luther for a bit of time if the boy wished. He knocked on Anya's door, and when he got no answer, he popped his head into the room, glancing around for a moment before noting the girl resting on the balcony. He wandered over towards her, noting that she didn't seem so stressed wit relief. "You look like you're enjoying yourself," he hummed quietly. "Mind if I join you?" If she was relaxing he didn't want to intrude.

The woman gave a soft sigh when she heard the door open, and gave a little smile. "Just a little bit," she chuckled softly. "If you'd like to," she then added. She gave a soft sigh before looking over at him with a little smile. "I figured it would be a good idea to take a break," she mused, nodding over to the pile of papers on her desk. "I got a little bit done anyways," she then added with a small chuckle. She then raised a brow and cocked her head with a little smile. "What brings you over today? You were here yesterday," she mused lightly.
